I've played a few rounds, ranked p2p really kills it for the PC version.
Ping meter is still showing bars instead of numbers we got in black ops, getting 2-3 secs delay even when on full 4 bars.
Other than that, at least the game doesn't crashes every few mins like black ops did during its launch period.

Mini-review :

Just played the MP (5 rounds)
The game is basically MW2.5 . I think it gets a lot of flak because they essentially kept a lot of the minor graphical things (UI, objective markers, etc) the same.
Essentially Modern Warfare 2 with a lot of tweaks and seemingly (so far) improvements. This is the impression i got while playing the game with the current UI.

Only used the Assault Rifle so far, the iron sight aiming does feel a bit different (maybe it's just be though). Feels more "zoomed" in? If thats even a word.

Matchmaking was OKAY for those 4 matches i guess.
I played 3 rounds with 3 bars of ping (approximated to 150ms or so?) while 2 matches with 4 bars of ping (connected to singapore i think) . Really had a lot of fun and definitely worth all of the RM70 i paid for it .

Yup can get exp during matchmaking.

where u get it so cheap? only RM70?

More people need to play the asia servers, just played the 200+ ping server with full room since all the asia servers are all empty and I gotta say had more fun than playing matchmaking.

All dedicated servers are unranked i believe. Only matchmaking is ranked.

As for dedicated servers theere seem to be a few . All empty though IDK why.

thats like 3 servers of Battlefield 3 Conquest Large 64 players map only...

3 servers of BF3 players = whole MW3 players...

hope the number of players increase soon

Actually that number of players is for the people in dedicated servers. Matchmaking has 20k+ i think.

what internet package u using? and whats the lowest ping u got in ur server list? [i mean ranked server only]

Hopefully more locals pick up the game and play in the server.
The dedicated servers are a barren wasteland atm, as we all know the majority play CoD to level up and unlock stuff.
Guess we'll have to deal with this p2p crap again for a year till treyarch's new CoD.

actually match making is not that bad.

plus, right after u have gotten all ur levels and unlocks, u join dedicated server for the fun...

P2P= peer-2-peer= lag/unplayable if the host is from other side of the world
The game could have been a return to CoD4 glory if it had ranked dedicated servers like black ops.

P2P only can get XP... if those dedicate servers, u cant get xp at all... lol
