I was looking to buy new tires with the size of 215/45 R16 but cant really locate around, does anyone know where to get it? TQ

what specific tyre model u looking for??..

purpose for using this kind of tyre is?

just wanna try for me not strong enough reason.. but if knowledge u search, then go for it bro.. this kind of tyre spec could be rare n xpensive, even 205/45/16 r oredy xpensive, dunno 215/45/16 ler.. huhuhu..

still wider tyre will affect ur dirveshaft, gbx diff, n clutch plate.. which is the weak will be affect 1st.. like my case my clutch plate slip replace it with 4 puck, my diff gone replace it, then my driveshaft gone replace it, now ok oredy.. huhu

ok actually im trying to prove that is it really 215/45r16x7jj is the best tyre setting for our FF machine that doesnt matter for circuit,street or touge driving le..... good for u as ur ride everything is ok ya

hermm.. best setting maybe depend on the whole car setup eg engine power, handling feel, braking power efficient, stability while top speed etc.. sometimes even overall weight n size plays the important role.. so it depends on wht car model, engine characteristics, n weight..

eg
turbo cars, need to use wider tyre due to higher torque and heavier engine will put a lot of stress on tire quickly, so FF turbo actually IMO (no offence) is not that great while cornering coz all stress straight to front tyre (for accelerate n decelerate), so it will worn out the front tire really fast..

while NA, its lighter in weight, high hp engine with moderate torque (in result can rev higher compare turbo engine), this higher rev will be an advantages while cornering as each gear got its own speed limit..

this all FF layout, so for FR, 4WD, MR, and RR will be another new whole story.. (correct me if i'm wrong to all sifu's here )

great info to know but as like what u mentioned, i will go for it as for practical knowledge but not a cheap leason

After so many years, this tyre size is still rare huh...

just take the most common size tyres around the market, easy for replacement and cost effective too
