Hi all,
My iswara has this "Air cond freeze" issue and u know the left front passenger side down there is a black colour box tinggy which always happen to have water leaking out. I sent my car for aircond service several time and according to the mech, the water leaking issue is unavoidable. He told me that old car's compressor or condenser ( I dont know wat the black box called, sorry) is located inside the car rather than new car which is located outside, therefore the "aircond water" will flow out and wet the entire floor =( The only advice he gave is do regular aircond service and do not turn the temperature to MAX if can. But I always have this water leaking issue every time when I drive under a hot day with temperature set to 1/3.
Sorry for the long story, but is there any way to solve this problem permanently ? <Help>

QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Jun 3 2011, 08:09 PM) Thanks the_catacombs for the link Added on June 4, 2011, 9:46 amQUOTE(GMS FearLess @ Jun 3 2011, 10:33 PM) go service the brake pump...piston maybe jammed and go skim disk..... Added on June 3, 2011, 10:41 pmi know source the problem.....the problem is cooling coil sensor that fail to stop the compressor when cooling coil freeze..compressor continuous spinning..maybe that sensor fail to detect cooling coil too cold and freeze....the pipe of the cooling coil compartment is blocked maybe thus water cant out.......try make test.....parking the car....start the engine and switch on the air cond.......after 10-20minutes....go out and see under the car if there water come out(dont worry that water come from aircond compartment)..if cant detect.....the pipe is blocked with something...... My proton already done tinted at Seremban..... Hi GMS FearLess, when u say coil sensor fail to stop the compressor do u mean that the car compressor always ON and the FAN keep turning? If that is what u mean then my car dont hv such problem as I can hear the Fan on and off occasionally. I hv sent my car for air cond service, the mech did some hose cleaning, use air gun and blow the pipe and some cleaning on the compressor if my memory still serve me right I will check on the experiment that u mentioned later in the afternoon =) thanks a lot for the help. I checked my car while idling, there is water dripping from the bottom part...hmmm so now I think need to resent my car to mech again, but this time what should I tell the mech ya? how much normally it will cost me to fix such problem?
