Guys, I need help. This issue is starting to get annoying and I knw something is wrong with my engine. Rmb previously I said when I cold start my engine. My car rpm drop to 200 to 300. This problem still persistent after changing the auto choke assembly. The Auto Choke is working now, only if i rev the engine. When I start the engine, the revving is not smooth. Stil hav the 3 cilinder running sound from my exhaust. Sounded like "bup bup bup bup" rev also "bup bup bup bup" thn giv a 3k rev it will start the auto choke. stop at 1.5k. Then slowly the "bup bup bup" sound turn to normal exhaust flow sound.

AFR gone wrong liao, need to tune ur carb or if worse case engine piston ring and valve seal k.o, it also can cause by bad spark plug, need to change already.

how to check distributor? start engine and plug out the plug cable to see the spark? will change the fuel filter this service..leaking fuel? the rubber hose broken or the fuel pump leaking?

thx for tips now need to find spark plug. lol
But i did realized, it only happened on cold start. vry rough idling at 200 rpm. step on gas for few times then only it started auto choke. what's wrong? could it be distributor?

Haiz, call my the mech, tell him the detail he said big chance due to carburetor choke fuel jam not vry sure which component but need to fix. He said not easy. haiz..there goes $$$ damn

Same problem, mine was lower around 100 - 200..need to service ur auto choke already. It will not 100% fully recover after changing the service parts, that is for my case. Today bring my car to mech and it was related to the auto choke again. So clean the carb test for a week. if problem still persistent, need to look into auto choke again. Worse case. change Carb.

Step on the gas the suction(sort of) is alot louder, even my fren who used to drive a iswara felt it, it is not like air filter sound. Haiz

Added on June 3, 2011, 12:47 amI also not vry sure leh. Today bring to workshop the mechanic said was my carburetor problem. Auto choke(recently changed). haiz. like endless. also today, switch off engine. engine still jerking like out of breath. previously after overhaul it was ok for a month or 2, then juz recently it came back. after tat hard to start. full throttle to start engine.

sifu catacombs, u knw what is wrong with my engine? please.

Vacuum hoses, check and replaced harden hoses.
plug condition brand new.
plug cable so far i been switching both bougicord and my previous pronto cable, both seems to be same. so it wasnt the plug cable problem i guess.
left carb tuning. im living in johor bahru area. hard to find good tuner for carburetor. but i manage to saw one shop rebuilding some serious old skool car. might drop by to the shop. today morning tune myself. somehow my tunning work. cold start went better than before. tmr try again. hopefully i can get it right.

Ya, lets hope it tat way. tmr morning try again. if still cannot solve. i might bring to de shop for tuning. hopefully they knw wat to do. not like most of the shop which only tune idling. and hope it's juz out of tune *finger cross*

Guys i need help again! I am starting to hate my car already! today i turn my ignition, car wont start. like no responses from starter then turn few more time plus pedal on gas then it suddenly started. Is it the starter rosak?

tick tak? erm..like totally silent. then meter light will still dim when i turn the key. no response from starter. why so many problem
Starter kong? how much is the price for replacing a new starter? roughly, im on vry tight budget already haiz..

back, was in KL business trip.
my iswara LMSS version..old iswara i think. Starter kong. Is it expensive to change?
