that is prevent the water to splash all over your engine bay
u notice when engine bay get dirty with mud is ussualy all over lower side of the firewall
where we got see before mud on our alternator , radioator , air cond compressor , carburator , engine block 1 ?
mine carb intake mouth are facing upward
i know a fella driving turbo saga and a meeeveee
both olso not using air filter and the intake mouth are fasing sideways summore
so far no problem

super toaring 1.8 = 8.5 inch
super tuoring 1.6 = 8 inch
and bigger clutch plate more expensive

bigger is better if ur engine produce big hp because the bigger clutch can handle more hp without slipping
but bigger are heavier and u need to skim it or else ur pick up like sheet
