ooo. but normally i straight switch to reverse there will be sound, but if i switch to 1st gear then reverse it will smooth. probably d fluid prob?

Hi everyone..I'm driving a 2004 Saga LMST.. There are alot of problem with my car..
My engine is not stable when idling..always jump from 0.6k to 1k..very annoying, the engine is shaking and it is not pleasant to drive..just change to a new 2nd hand carb..the problem still persist..my mechanic said 1-3 of the valve is spoilt..need to change it..how much will it cost? Is there any solution, can i use dcarbon insted? One more thing, sometimes it is hard for me to engage to 1st gear..is it because of my synchro has worn out? How much will it cost to change the synchro? |

Most of them are still helical cut. Only the older GB like from the 4G13 8v Orion uses a straight cut reverse gear and a vacuum synchro to engage.but straight cut are noisier and slanted cut are quiter but cost more to produce so in end forward gear use slanted cut and reverse use straight cut for cost saving thats why those dtm,wrc,gt car got whining sound |
