If u press on the battery bar u'll see a menu pop up
Press on the battery icon and then it'll show ur batter %-age level
Is tat the icon u r referring to?

nonon...he is nt saying that issue..my N8 also will have that issue when i switch off the phone n charge it...I just ignore it..no problem one

When switch off and charge I also have that (maybe it's some sort of built in function, who knows tongue.gif )
But he din mention that he switched off so i assume the phone is still on doh.gif

Lol, then nothing to worry bout
It's normal, moreover once the batt is fully charged it stops charging by itself

My only guess is that nokia wants the users to know when to switch off their charger and not waste energy or something hmm.gif
Since now nokia's aim is for energy conservation for all their product
Maybe the light beside the phone when charging and the warning tone after it finish charge is also because of that blink.gif
Just my 2cents though
