QUOTE(cloud8318 @ Jan 26 2011, 01:01 PM) +1 really difficult.. because i am one-of-not-spamming here. so its troublesome to check if my post is answered already. but i live in SE K810 and nokia 5800 era. i can bear all the spamming because it makes this thread really active than other thread to all who make N8 thread reached V22 in very shot time...come think of it....if a N8 user need help on his/her N8, when he/she come in to N8 thread for an answer, with 90+% is useless post!!! how difficult will it be? |

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Jan 26 2011, 01:16 PM) active and useful is two different thing. Thats why this is call symbian phone specific discussion thread there is a reason why the forum are separate to different section. there got chemistry with that also. eg;In this is kopitiam symbian specific discussion u spam all u want. if active but not useful, will be prob. if useful but not active, also a prob. so active and useful, is really hard to get. in this situation, our thread in discussion section, so already useful enough. just need to make it active, also done with u all spamming. haha p/s: just looking in positive way, so we are in bright side dont u think? |

i am successfully flashing my orange N8, with cracked UDA H2O edition. Thanks to faenil@nokian8forums.com. This is what i get so far :
1) install sign program with signing it 2) much faster and better responsive. (but will keep it monitor 1st) 3) ovi store is working 4) ovi maps can update to 3.06 without hassle. 1 good thing for v3.06 is u can download your map with wi-fi, no need to install maps from PC anymore. 5) still need to monitor what changes already made. p/s: bear in your mind, this procedure 'sometimes' will brick or turn your n8 to dead mode. u can use certain software to revive it but it is not recommended for ppl who just not really know what is he/she getting at it. |

chill bro, yeah i could agree also even spam so many but the Q also been answered properly. you can use search topic as well, so its easier to know whether your Q is been answered already or not. but in other hand, ppl who answer it need to use quote function to get it done.

QUOTE(PyOsE @ Jan 26 2011, 02:38 PM) more. 170mb+ hint: u can always remove the memory card UDA. but u will lose all the pre-installed apps, (which is pre-installed in E: Note : i found it faster to put cache at D: (refer sklchan mods 4.00) than E: . i still testing to load heavy website 1 to 5 in once. give conclusion later. |

QUOTE(Hiruka @ Jan 26 2011, 02:53 PM) Haha welcome mate! Hopefully next gathering not only me holding an Orange not also. i read from other forum/website, they said both is like similar performance. they tested with usb OTG, copying to C: and E: and they come with that conclusion.Ofcoz internally faster than removable card.. on the other hand, our external memory (16gb) is 10x faster than n95-8gb (i think they meant for performance internal memory, not the phone). They also make an example like installing HAWX, which is took about 3 minutes or less when installing at E: (bear in your mind the installation size is 140mb+). So it shows that our internal memory much faster than memory card. p/s: those claimed is from other website. i try to post the source when i have it (its brazillian or russian site, coz i use google translate to read it) |
