me too... for the first time flashing radio, i must say it more difficult than flashing a rom

unless you're using different launcher. e.g.: go launcher can sort app inside menu and put them in drawer. all my app just 4 page only.

root doesn't change downloaded installed apps!
flash a new rom also doesn't change the installed app.
but, if you do wipe which is recommended before flashing rom, then you need reinstall back from backup or the apps itself.

As other user mention b4, I'm also has a problem installing app from market on leedroid 1.5.0.
That's why v1.5.1 quickly appear just a day after that doh.gif
btw, still like leedroid (the boot up is awesome), now downloading v1.5.1

wifi/network connection help your GPS to lock faster.
furthermore, maybe your DHD is still new. after subsequent usage of GPS, the locking time is reduce.
you can improve it further by always using an apps that use GPS like foursquare!

btw, you need marketacces to gain paid apps...
paid app need root device which you already did...

yes, you only need S-OFF to flash a new rom.
and you need to S-OFF first before you can do your rom backup
