finally got my in-car phone holder after weeks of delay. It is universal generic type but I think it is not bad. Hold my Desire HD firmly on the windscreen - tried pull it with my hand with some force but it hold on to the windscreen tightly.

QUOTE(monza84 @ Jan 23 2011, 11:48 AM) LOL..pull with full force sure that thing will broke what heat do you mean? the heated windscreen under the scorching afternoon sun? I have been using few of these car holder with suction cup like this one - one is the unversal car holder for my previous Desire and one is the original car holder from Garmin GPS - both no problem to hold tightly to the hot windscreen for prolong period.QUOTE(cybermick @ Jan 23 2011, 12:18 PM) Bro, u placed the car holder on the top right, then for charging, u mar need at least a 2-metres microUSB to USB cable lor? And in btw, r u selling this? no need so long I think. anyway i have a microUSB cable that can connect the phone to the power outlet - either the cigarette lighter or my Headunit comfortable with some length to spare. QUOTE(kevinphuah88 @ Jan 25 2011, 10:11 AM) guys, wat would i lose if i do a full wipe of my phone before flashing rom ? watever in my backup of backup pro and titanium would be affected rite ? need to restore all of them after i flashed the rom ? after you backup with titanium backup, copy the Titanium backup folder to your PC, just in case. Full wipe of factory reset normally will not affect microSD card but just to be safe. |

QUOTE(Eight_8 @ Jan 25 2011, 12:00 PM) Btw today morning, i get a call from SiS Malaysia and they survey on the HTC sense feedback ! lol... what to survey? the HYTCsense.com is broken. any1 received this call? Added on January 25, 2011, 12:58 pm QUOTE(Hazmatyre @ Jan 25 2011, 12:29 PM) HTCsense.com is working for me. read your User Guide/Manual please. HTCSense.com is not just about ringing and locating your phone. After you select your country as 'Malaysia', enter your number as 01x-xxxxxxx You don't need to put in the country code before your number and ensure that your GPS is enabled. I've rang phone twice - and I hope it didn't cost much to do so. This post has been edited by Cynox: Jan 25 2011, 12:58 PM |

QUOTE(lek_e30 @ Jan 28 2011, 09:46 AM) Need some feedback from otterbox commuter user here... does the silicon part feels loose on your device? I meanit will came off easily. no, solid as rock. Unless you use only the silicone without the hard plastic shell. take your DHD out and reseat the casing properly. It shouldn't be loose at all. |

QUOTE(soonlee33 @ Jan 28 2011, 02:18 PM) key in *#*#4636#*#* to change from WCDMA to GSM auto (PRL). any difference with changing the network via Menu >> Settings >> Wireless & network >> Mobile network >>Network Mode? Here you can select WCDMA only / GSM only / GSM/WCDMA only.GSM auto (PRL) - The GSM phone is capable of using both 2G and 3G data communication and when signal strength is low 2G is favored more. coz I notice if I change the setting using the 4636 code, the setting at the Menu>>Setting>>,,,,, will change accordingly too. The GSM auto (PRL) will set the settings at GSM/WCDMA only. |

QUOTE(lung85 @ Jan 31 2011, 05:24 PM) after perform this thing, next time we need charge battery also need to perform 5 and 6 or we can charge whenever we like? no, just charge whenever you like. Only when you feel your battery drain not consistent then only you do the calibration again, maybe few months later. |
