From my experience, I reckon Amex and MBB have different teams of customer service staff.
*
yes there are different teams, even the Amex Plat and Amex Gold have different teams. But I noticed MBB CS have been improving since I got my first MBB card in 2009. And if not mistaken lauyaumonk mentioned some Amex CS have been assigned to MBB. Lauyaumonk, if you drop by, do enlighten us on this.

no point crying over spilled milk. The fact is MBB Dua Amex much much better than AMEX Gold CC. The earlier you get MBB 2, the earlier you benefit from it. MBB 2 gives you cash back on weekend which can offset the GST and also just spend RM2,000 with MBB 2 and you have enough points to offset GST.

1. If you had not used the Amex Gold after they charged the GST, you can get it waived via a cancellation.
2. 10000TP is for signing up 3 AutoPay billers.

in layman terms, ur CC pay for ur bills on ur behalf.

but have to monitor ur bill also, maybe sometimes got error like billing suddenly very high for that particular month. if not buta-buta ur CC pays even though theres a discrepancy. sweat.gif

Glad to hear that major pharmacies accept Amex. However, their price of medicines are not cheap at all, even after minus 7.5% equivalent cashback using Amex. I buy a lot of medicines every month, I found a pharmacy in Dataran Sunway which MCC code falls in 5% cashback category, and its price is very very competitive. For example, Plavix 1 blister RM97. I bet you can't get this price anywhere else.

Never tried this service but somehow it's service is linked with comgateway.

You can get the shipping estimate from www.comgateway.com

While we consider the Amex cashback, sometimes need to survey prices at different places also. No point buying RM300 with Amex 15% cashback, but sold RM250 at Chinese medicine shop. One example was when I bought an Omron blood pressure meter, selling price was like RM270 - RM300 in Jusco, Guardian, Caring, but I got the exact same model at RM199 from a pharmacy in Taman Megah.

This is what I want to say too. I don't understand why you repeated my meaning using another scenario.
