TP has a limit, but I do not think MR points have a redemption limit for miles. I redeemed 400K miles in the last few months. I'm not certain about this.

AMEX is great. They often increase your credit limit as you continue to spend. I experienced four significant increases after using it for 15 months in service

This is what I understood too.

It seems mixed feedback but it depends when was the last few months you did this? This only starts to implement in the recent months.

2M miles is sufficient for me per calendar year, equating to an annual spending of RM 14M.

It is sufficient for many people, but it has a limit every month, and not many people can redeem it. Hence, people will start calling before 00:00 on 1st every month and it can be finished within the first few hours. Refer to point 6. It seems like a lot but that's not the case when everyone is also redeeming.

You would probably qualify for the centurion card if they introduce it.

I hope so, but i did split my spending on oversea with UOB, as AMEX got higher over transaction charges. I spent alot at overseas too. Sometimes, I am thinking just spent it on Amex pay a little higher fees probably one day can get centurion

Probably good to build your record on this one. Was told you could also contact Amex Singapore with an interest on the centurion.

I just called customer service. Malaysia AMEX does not offer a Centurion card. It's only available in Singapore, and their spending system is different and cannot be tracked.

Yes, I did it before the miles inflated. I thought the Platinum card was also affected by the miles inflation.

That explains why you haven't experienced the OOS miles. It will finish on every month's 1st first few hours. Everyone will standby before 00:00.

A few weeks ago, I called and they said cannot do it until 0:00am next month. Said can either do via website or phone call. I’m a bit suspicious about this website thing (maybe system will hang?). So better just call?

They won’t put any request for you, it can only be done 00:00 onward. The call will be busy before 00:00 anyway, you will be put on hold.
For website, last month there were instances were OTPs were not received for CelcomDigi. Yes, they still use OTP in this case.

Aside from possible TAC issue (I use Maxis), have you tried redeeming through the website after 0:00 before? Just wondering about the general experience in case I cannot speak to anyone when calling.
