Disabling Tabs in MSN Messenger 7
===========================
1. Click on the Start Button and select Run. Then type in regedit in the text box and hit Ok.
2. Navigate through HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Microsoft, MSNMessenger, PerPassportSettings, and then the numbered folder.
3. Right click on the numbered folder and select New and then DWORD Value.
4. Type in DisableTabs as the name of the new key.
5. Next, right click on the new key you just made, DisableTabs, and select Modify.
6. In the value box, key in 1 and hit Ok.

Uninstalling your buit-in Windows Messenger

Some of you guys might want to remove your built-in windows messenger which comes with your WindowsXP, and here's how...

Go to start > run and enter this :
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Uninstalling Messenger on computers that have Service Pack 1/2 installed
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Go to control panel and choose Add or Remove Programs.
2. Select Add/Remove Windows Components.
3. Click to remove the checkmark next to "Windows Messenger".
4. Click the Next button and finish then restart your PC.

Change the Messenger background
===========================
You can replace the background-picture in Messenger with any image you like. Just go to "C:\Program Files\Messenger\" and replace the file "lvback.gif".

How to install msgplus without spyware
==============================
Until now, some people still don't know how to install msgplus properly, all they do is just accept anything without bother to read while installing.

Pls DO NOT install messenger plus...it contains spyware/adware

U dint really know how to install then... before u install u can choose NOT TO INSTALL those spy/ad shit. READ CAREFULLY.

so u mean when i install msg plus.. i select the... remove ad? or what?
