does a mouse really affect a player's performance?

i'm using a cheap no-more-than-RM50 logitech mouse that came with my pc when i first bought it,if i change into a razer or any of those stuff.Does my fragging skill get a sudden leap?

I think using a good gaming mouse helps. Faster response time and what not. But experience in playing will give you the extra edge from others.

why dont you go borrow from someone who has one of the gaming mouses and try for yourself?

mouse is still part of your equipment right?
so anything that gives confidence is good.
yea it might be cool to say i pwn ppl with a RM5 mouse, but what if it breaks down in the middle? or literally breaks?

i guess if you're casual player you probably wont care much.
but having better equipment lets you concentrate on what matters most without worrying if your mouse or keyboard gonna break down etc.

back to topic, i'm using a wireless logitech mediaplay mouse. coz i'm lazy and need a remote to play/stop/skip/adjust volume.
it's black/silver/blue with blue lights too, lol..
