I'm using the G5 and it rocks. Bought it from All-IT about 2 weeks ago
Previous to this I was using a MS Intellixplorer 3 mouse. The right mouse button starting sticking on me, so time to upgrade.
Got the G5 and never realized how much difference a proper gaming mouse can make.
The tilt mouse wheel function gives 2 additional buttons that are great to have and the on the fly DPI settings are something I hadn't experienced before.
It has interchangeable weights, but I like a heavier mouse so I am using all the weight in it at the moment. Even the USB cord is extra special and exudes quality construction.
Very happy indeed
I'm using the mouse on a Func pad and couldn't be happier. Now if I just had the skills to go with the mouse...

hey guys..i'm using a logitech MX500... can't seem to get BF2 to reconize my thumb buttons and the extra ones on the top. Only the left, right and scroll can work. I did the registry thing as stated at the official site too. Latest mouseware. Any ideas?

I tried using the mouse on the rough side, but I always preferred the smooth side anyway.
It works ok on both sides, but the smooth side is silky smooth and works great.
I bought my mouse first, but read a review of mouses (mice?) on either www.tomshardware.com or www.anandtech.com which said that the Logitech G5/G7 are the best period...

actually its my and razer's mistake, razer included a crap driver in their CD which causes the laser to power down = freeze, i've read some forums bout this, they say it can be fixed via using the latest driver, well, i think i screwed up in the installation of that driver...its really not user-friendly at all This post has been edited by Xonius: Oct 7 2005, 04:18 PM
