QUOTE(Kclee2002 @ Apr 7 2011, 10:26 AM) Hi bro, Possible to do on 4G93P ecu #5537? Would like to know more details and advantages as well. Hi, any older Mitsubishi with an Eprom can be remapped, on newer models only black plastic cased ecu's can be reflashed. Kindly open you ecu to confirm the presence of an Eprom. Without an Eprom the ecu cannot be remapped. Remapping Fuel and Ignition maps will give your engine more power and torque, possibly even better fuel consumption. This map will be custom for your car. Manufacturers normally provide a safe and simple map so all the cars of the same model can use it, however its not the best that the engine requires, it will cost manufacturers too much to map every single ecu seperately. Hence the factory map will never be the best. Hope the explanation helps. Thanks.
