before I root how to do the nandroid?
i follow the guide it says root 1st then only can do nandroid?

can I just follow the normal rooting method using unrevoked if I'm using Window 7 64bits?

anything that's different from other guide if I'm using 64bits?

any1 can enlighthen me how come I dun see hboot usb option when i reboot the phone and after the sd check?

connect my phone to pc, ch arge only then switch it off then press volum + power then wait till the sd check finish but I don't see Hboot usb under sim lock...nothing is under sim lock... so i pressed power on fast boot to restart then tried a few times more, then I tink once i choose recovery then it goes to ! , then I pull out battery then now stil cant find hboot usb...

i have installed and removed my htc sync and I tink i have the HTC USB driver still. how to check for the unrevoked version as I followed exactlly the guide from first page for unrevoked, I now found the super user permission on my app list d, although I have never selected any Hboot usb option but I leave it when it's at the bootloader and I just skip to the device manager step and do all the steps.... offcoz skip the steps to choose hboot usb again after choosing the update software...
then my phone keep reboot for few times then now it's starting then I check the app list got superuse permission... is this right?

its 2.5.0.7..... so how to perform the nandroid backup or change to 2.5.1.8.?

now I'm doing the nandroid backup d, so how to wipe the phone???? decided to try leedroid 1st.so i downloading thw leedroid 2.3dwith a2sd correct or without a2sd?

hrm....how to partition via recovery then?
how do i know my nandroid is working?

currently starting to get familiar with the new rom, again may I know how do I wipe my phone?
I remember I follow to recovery and press wipe cache /factory reset....
didn't select wipe all user data as i think might not be the right 1...
everything I did is not exactly shown in the guide...somes follows my common sense which I'm afraid i might not doing it the right way.
mayb gotta redo my root and flash again.....

how to go to partition option under advanced mode?
cant find the advanced mode, gotta do bootloader?
and what to do if I reach partition option?I mean how much to do partition and which is which for? using a 2 gb card ...

I press volme down + power , then choose rcovery then choose advance, but didn't see partition sd....how how?

What is cwm? What is amon? I really dunno how to check.now phone memory low after using leedroid.200kb left.

I feel you dude, was so confused about the guide of rooting and find some of the guide is not exactly same for your model.
But I did take up the steps to root and flash new rom.
unfortunately I Think I didn't root and flash the rom correctly so My new Leedroid rom got storage problem and then luckilly I did nandroid backup (which the guide didn't ask me to do) I can revert back to stock Rom and my old setting...
till now still using stock rom because don't have time to really sit down do all the flashing etc....
mayb will spend more time to read up and flash a good rom.....
I think the problem now is we are lacking of a complete and conventional guide to root and flash for newbie specifically on Desire SLCD.
got guide for nandroid, rooting, rooting with unrevoked, flash rom , gold card....
all these are well written but for newbie like me , I dunno which 1 to do 1st and which 1 is necessary and we need some1 to tell us that's outdated, you don't have to do this, once you did this you don't have to do this etc..

@ Bro TYJA,thx bro, I have already rooted and flash rom Before CNY just that when I'm using LEedroid the phone keep having memory problem and I believe I must have did smth wrong.( dunno which recovery image I'm using coz I didn't download any recovery image , just download the rom and flash rom.... need assistance in the guide.then I did a nandroid backup before flash rom so I reverse to nandroid because after I flash I wrongly follow some steps by the bros here maybe I pandai pandai go and delete all my data.....
so now I have a rooted phone running on Stock froyo.
