bought my desire last last friday. suprisingly most shop sold out at Shah Alam. found one shop that have stock. the salesman is trying to convince me to buy DHD, but I too have the same thinking with bomberman..

i'm not tempted with the 8mp camera, and i think 4 inch is a bit oversized for a phone.

now learning and reading about custom roms and rooting

btw its normal for desire to last not more than 48 hours.. some cant even made it on their first 24 hours.. ekeke..

what rom u running bro? last time i oso experience sumthin like this but after flashing to other rom it seems to prolong the longevity of yr battery's life.. ekeke..

but if u really haevy-weight desire users then no amount of rom would be enough to fulfill yr battery's desire..

about the replacement btry i cant really comment anything coz never tried that before...

juz wondering, among all the GBread ROMs, which one is recommended? i am split between CM7 nightly and Oxygen RC7...

done flashing to CM7 Build24... loving it...

anyway, 1 issue... i ve set the brightness to auto, whenever my phone sleeps and wakes up again, the backlight is dimmed, and won't turn back on unless i disable auto brightness... it's back to normal once i reboot though...

any ideas?

Man, Rom Manager and Titanium Backup sure makes things so much easier. I've tried MIUI, fantastic I think but the iPhone looks and especially the dialer turned me off a little. Trying Cyanogen 6.1 now. Is 7 stable?

Btw a question. You know in our original HTC ROM, when we dial for a number, it picks up either the number or the letters. But in MIUI, it does not pick up letters, meaning I MUST remember the number of the other person in order to get to him, that is very inconvenient and honestly the very reason that shy me away from MIUI. Is it like that or am i doing something wrong?

Still... Dialing via Name is the easiest lol. Ohh wells guess its something I'll have to live with. Btw, does flashing CM really takes so long? I'm looking at the CM bootup for at least half an hour now.

Using ROM Manager to do all my flashing stuff. So looks like I hit a wall now, is it save to shut down my phone and try to do things manually?

I have a problem..
My desire keeps doing random reboots.. especially when active playing games.
Was previously using rcmix ROM. I tot becoz ROM unstable, so changed to LeeDroid. But after awhile, the reboots still happening..

Any idea why? Any suggestions on what to do?
