btw! forgot to add something to the earlier tasker profile, the "," (coma) sign
try adding it like "charging, [name]'s, h t c desire" it will sound much nicer!

also, 1 more profile which is useful when charging your phone as well,
set new state > battery level > from 99 to 100,
then 1 task, misc > say > "battery is now, ninety nine percent, full"
after that go to profile properties > cooldown time 1 hour (or how long to your liking)
done. this profile is to remind you that your phone charged to almost full already
I feel this is unnecessary though, but just try it for fun

its something like appbrain but this android market is officially from google.

how did you make it?

I remember from previous thread someone mentioned that the cover replacement from SiS is quite cheap,
but I can't remember the exact figure lol

btw, another random idea for tasker from me..
install screen off and lock,
create new profile > state > orientation > choose face down
1 task > load app > choose screen off and lock

so now whenever your phone is faced down it will auto lock without you even pressing anything at all

no spec is known yet, but that should be the natural case

if you can wait.. sure, why not
but just to let you know, quad core is coming next year

actually HTC is the one that got phone of the year award twice in a row, Hero is the 2009 phone of the year, while Desire is 2010 phone of the year

lol, with a2sd means literally unlimited storage space

I'm using.. very nice browser, plus its looks fits perfectly with MIUI rom

yes you need to root your phone before anything else

use titanium backup to backup your apps

for the scenes you'll have to redo it, there's no way of backing it up,
maybe take a screenshot of it using shootme app,
the app requires root access so you'll have to root first then only take screenshot,
then later redo your scene accordingly,
I think that's probably the best way already

no, rooting wont alter any settings in your phone at all,
only 1 extra app called superuser will be added into your app drawer

titanium backup is for backing up your apps

while nandroid is backing up the whole rom

there's also mybackup which back up your contacts and sms
