The above is for rooting and not flashing ROM?? Some people are talking about what LeeDroid etc...that is a ROM rite? So by rooting, i can install that App2SD+ thing??

Err...correct in what? Which guide should i follow for rooting?

I feel you dude, was so confused about the guide of rooting and find some of the guide is not exactly same for your model.
But I did take up the steps to root and flash new rom.
unfortunately I Think I didn't root and flash the rom correctly so My new Leedroid rom got storage problem and then luckilly I did nandroid backup (which the guide didn't ask me to do) I can revert back to stock Rom and my old setting...
till now still using stock rom because don't have time to really sit down do all the flashing etc....
mayb will spend more time to read up and flash a good rom.....
I think the problem now is we are lacking of a complete and conventional guide to root and flash for newbie specifically on Desire SLCD.
got guide for nandroid, rooting, rooting with unrevoked, flash rom , gold card....
all these are well written but for newbie like me , I dunno which 1 to do 1st and which 1 is necessary and we need some1 to tell us that's outdated, you don't have to do this, once you did this you don't have to do this etc..

i also like nexus s...but it has only single core cpu. plus, rumor said android 2.4 will come out somewhere in april but still maintain code name gingerbread.
for me, nexus s not special anymore..

this forum have help me a lot for the past 1month when i truly need advice in rooting bzns...now I running leedroid2.3d with latest radio.

however this past two days..i detecting some problem with my precious Desire...

it seem my Desire got a little hot than usual...and to put it into more horrified situation..just now my Desire seem to restart on it own and then stuck at leedroid boot screen. I hv to take off the battery. Thanks god it work after that. But still the back of myDesire look alittle bit hot than usual.

This lead me to you guys(the taikos) , I need to ask some question regarding this situation(sorry for inconvenient)

1) what is the normal temperature of Htc desire? (mine easily up from 35 to 38c)
2) Can Flashing Radio coz temperature rising? (maybe my mistake but this problem happen after flashing radio although it doesn't happen right away)
3) How about tasker, autokill and setcpu? (did this marvelos apps make myDEsire hot?)

Who here actually uses the search button on Desire? That button hasn't been pressed for a long time lol...I use trackball button the most 

I just showed some apps/launcher than can be other OS, i let my phone become a windows phone 7(using Metro UI), become iphone(using iClone and MIUI) and become android itself(launcher pro is the way to go). i customize them to the max to look the coolest and i ask, can iphone do these things? they responded, wow cool~~ nuff said. even my girlfriend caught with android's awesomeness. Just that she doesnt prepare to let go her iphone 4 yet.
i dont know bout windows phone 7 but windows 6.5 sucks! i heard windows phone 7 is nice though. but when you compare the freedom, dont you think WP7, iphone and blackberry OS are the same?

somehow . i cant get metro ui to work . got blank screen onli

1st boot , all my apps was still remain ( though all will gone)

then memory less then 50mb , so reformat . then back to 147mb

I not sure got full wipe .. I just load the zip then it run , when complete I check setting it become leedroid , but all apps and data still remain . I though install new Rom will all deleted ....

The space now is alright d . I flash new Rom then clean data again .. but I feel my WiFi line was turning slow . Dont know is leedroid or my WiFi line problem

I have to check first. Since the price around RM 78. I think the cost are from RM 40++ to RM50++. Impossible for the cost of the case is RM 60++ !
Ohh , PJ area. Fresh Gear in Digital Mall sell it at RM 1,850. I so friend with the Fresh Gear staff,almost more than 9 years. He still wanna sell me at that price. I found out from HTC,cost to them is RM 1,731. Cannot even sell me at RM 1,750. All blame on Fresh Gear boss that wanna earn so much.

Fuiyo...you ask people to earn RM19?? Cmon lar...RM1,850 is a fair price. The profit margin is only about 10% or less. You think people no need to makan meh. If you wanna blame, blame HTC for the high price. I'm sure their profit margin is way higher.

Matrix,if you have some kind of business relationship. You think the boss will look at RM19 to just to spoil the relationship. THink before you talk man. You never in those business relationship shoe then keep quiet. I been selling alots of HTC more than you buying and using. So keep the mouth shut. Not happy then report me !
