Sunway Pyramid Phase 3
UPDATE: Converted into Hotel Suites.
SunCity is now planning Sunway Pyramid Phase 3 on a 1-acre site, which will start next month, and feature 2 blocks of serviced apartments, a 2.5 retail podium (extension of Sunway Pyramid New Wing), with a net lettable area of 240,000 sq ft and 900 parking bays. Linked to the existing mall, the RM250 million project is expected to be completed in August 2014.
The developer is also currently designing Phase 4, where the developer plans to build a HIGH-END shopping village, boutique offices and serviced apartments on a 6-acre plot. There are also plans to add in additional car park facilities and green building features.
Another project is a corporate office tower, The Pinnacle, located adjacent to Menara Sunway in Bandar Sunway, offering..... (not related)

Wow .... 900psf is expensive, 700psft would sound more reasonable to me.  Anyway every property in KL is expensive and there are always rich fellows there to sapu all. Hi Sifu Pai, what's ur tot on this if it is 900psf? Good investment?

little bird told me this project starts from rm1k/psf with price up mechanism. eg. 10% sold, increase 10%, 50% sold increase another 10%, etc.

But honestly I cant forsee why any super rich people want to buy there...Very niche market but I'll be very surprise if got people buy at min1k/sft..I want to see with my own eyes..Lets wait and see la..All I can say is rich people are smart if not they wont be rich in first place..

Which person will want to buy such a small place?? But for that size and price I can forsee alot of young & single executives or professional buying it with high loans. No cash rich man will buy for sure unless they intend to use some indecent act..
Added on March 10, 2011, 11:15 amAnyway for verification, their smallest unit is 600sft.. is RM600k reasonable for that area plus LH???( assuming its 1000/sft )

how is this compared to the Equine - DA MEN in USJ1 - 550psf? They are all aiming student rental. But can student pay $2000 for about 1000sf place?

That taikor may be got connection to the tourist agency and can earn from per night rate.. Let say a unit can gain RM 300 per night, and each month can rented out 20 nights. That will be 6K per month... If he got the connection or may be the travel agency boss himself...

Looks like Icon City is launched with 900++/sq ft. Waiting anxiously on price point that Sunway is going to put. Hopefully it is the same.
Got an email on a teaser that some sort of launch will be happening on 7th-9th Oct. Is it for this project?
