The fourth installment of the popular series by Rockstar features improved graphics, new features, and new gameplay. Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City is a standalone compilation of the downloadable content (DLC) episodes for the 2008 video game Grand Theft Auto IV, containing both The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony on one disc. It was released alongside the DLC release of The Ballad of Gay Tony on 29 October 2009 for the Xbox 360 and released on 13 April 2010 for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3. Unlike the standalone versions of the episodes, the compilation does not require a copy of Grand Theft Auto IV to play, nor is an Xbox Live or PlayStation Network account necessary (except for multiplayer). The content is also played straight from the disc, and does not need to be downloaded to a hard drive to play, like various other disc-based expansions for other Xbox 360 games that have been released in the past. Available exclusively on the Episodes from Liberty City disc are three new in-game radio stations – Vice City FM, RamJam FM and Self-Actualization FM.

The Lost and Damned

The Lost and Damned otherwise features similar gameplay to Grand Theft Auto IV. Additions to the game include new weapons, such as a grenade launcher, Automatic Pistol, half of a pool cue and pipe bombs, as well as sawn-off and automatic shotguns and new vehicles, such as Johnny's custom-made motorcycle. However, his way of handling vehicles is less proficient than the way he handles any motorcycle. The player is able to telephone various members of the Lost to provide assistance. Terry, for instance, will drive to a location near to Johnny and sell him weapons and armour, while Clay can deliver a bike of the player's choice to a nearby area. Another addition to The Lost and Damned is gang wars. Once the player has completed a certain amount of them, weapons spawn in either the clubhouse and/or safehouse depending on how far the player has progressed in the story, and every subsequent 10 gang wars up to 50, a new weapon will spawn.

The Ballad of Gay Tony

The Ballad of Gay Tony follows the exploits of a new protagonist, Luis Fernando Lopez, an associate of a Dominican street gang, and the personal bodyguard of Anthony "Gay Tony" Prince. Rockstar Games claim in their press release that this episode "injects Liberty City with an overdose of guns, glitz, and grime" and that "players will struggle with the competing loyalties of family and friends, and with the uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price."

its' hard to me said this but..i think GTA vice city,and san andreas have a best sound track and radio station ever then GTA 4...i miss flash FM,k-dust etc..etc..lot's of memories......

Added on April 11, 2011, 11:46 pmanyone have this problem? when i start the game and the screen stay load forever. after sometime the character is still looping again and again but the game sound suddenly gone. everytime i have to ctrl+alt+del to close the game

GTA4 and EFLC have been on sales for quite a number of times.

Well, just finished dled the game from steam, took me 3 days for only the GTAIV, not the EFLC, ugh...when i 1st play the game and wanted to register for my Games For Windows Live, my game crashed, twice, quickly gone through the registration and now the game is runing fine

That is about 31gb worth of download.

well it took me 6 days to download both completely. 31 gb of goodness

initially the registration was a hassle tho, need to register both side rockstar and gfwl..

You could have gotten the backup from other forumers.

The problem just suddenly goes away for me. Not sure but what I did was, run EFLC as admin and run, if cant, then put it at XP SP3 compatibility and run, if cant, then don't run EFLC as admin but ki pthe compatibility and run, if still can't, remove the compatibility and restart your comp. That's what i did and it's all fixed O_O

just started to play GTA IV on pc for the first time. I used to play San andreas in ps2. i have few questions

when i am driving and if i am turning left or right, i have to move my mouse manually so i can see what is infront, in PS I didn't have to do that. Is it like that in GTA PC?

Why sometimes when police arrest me I can fight back but sometimes I surrender?

Yes, you're right about the mouse movement. It has been that since San Andreas on PC. I didn't like it then but I got used to it and eventually liked it. GTA III and VC was exactly like PS2 version, no mouse movement is needed.

You can't fight back with the police if you're being arrested and drag out of the car by the police. You can when you have less stars, if you have 3 stars and above, the cops won't even bother trying to arrest you (if you're on foot) but would just shoot you instead.

I was being arrested when im 1 or 2 stars and im not in the car but police was very near me. Sometimes i can and sometimes i cant hit back.

And when i took out my phone i can only see halfway which is numpad 123456. I cant see cell phone numpad 789 and this lead me to unable to type cheat code. How to fix this
