just got back my asus yesterday...

im very disappointed with Asus service centre...

None of my problems were fixed, the subwoofer is still not working, touchpad is still not working..

and worse still they have reformatted my laptop which wasnt necessary..

they didnt slot my ram in properply, had to do it myself..

i've waited 2 weeks for that..

this is very frustrating...

dear friends.. asus service is freaking bad...

the last time i told you guys that i sent my laptop twice for RMA because
my subwoofer capult.

after the last time i received my laptop i had lcd bleeding.. pretty bad one..

so i decided to send it again for RMA..

It took 3 weeks, they have replaced my lcd..

but the quality sucks, the lcd is too yellowish, but i managed to cover it with own color calibration, but still, even at about 30 degrees angel, the color have some yellowish tint on it.. its really bad..

im sumpremely disappointed with asus service quality.. i wont send my laptop for rma anymore.. i would be sailing in less then a month... even if i send, i dont think the service quality would improve..

extremely sad, my friend who bought laptop for less than 2.5k have good display, but i who spent alot dont have the same quality...

I think if he send it to other ASUS in other countries that carries G series then it can be replaced with the same series.. hmm.gif  just my 2 cents..

he said he can other G series laptop, he would have to import it from HQ.

waiting for me could be a problem, coz i will be sailing soon.

Added on August 10, 2011, 10:37 pmhe cant replace it with the same model, g73jh is no longer in production..

What kin of problems you have encountered till the Asus wanna replace you with a Lambo?

This is my 1st time hearing that Asus Malaysia will offer another new notebook for their users. I have tried to ask them before but they said that exchanging notebook is not in their policy  hmm.gif

Issues not resolving problems... mr low said this is the first time hes doing that..

my problems

1) subwoofer capult - sent to asus, they didnt fix ...
2) sent it back to asus - they fixed it.
3) this time i got crackling noise, tried upgrading the bios, reinstall drivers, no hope.. so sent it back to asus.. when i received the laptop, my screen had lcd bleeding, pretty bad..
4)sent it again.. they replaced my lcd, this time, the replaced lcd was too yellowish..
5) i send it over again. they replaced the lcd again, still the problem persist.. they changed to another model number(to a lower resolution one, which got me really pissed, but, they yellowish problem still persist)

my laptop have spent about 3 months in service centre for problems that arent being resolved. so he offered me this laptop.
