Let me summarizes the ASUS G series we are carrying.
1. All the ASUS products are directly from US, the free 1 year accidental damage is not applied within Malaysia.
2. All the customized parts (non-default) are not covered by ASUS, you can claim warranty directly from us.
3. G53SX-A1, G74SX BBK7 are using 2gb version of GTX560M, G74SX-XR1 and G74SX-3DE are using 3GB version of GTX560M.
4. g74SX bbk7 and g74sx xr1 are coming along with 1 year global ASUS warranty only, g74sx bbk7 cannot upgrade the warranty further.
5. The whole process of build-test-delivery is 14 to 21 days, starting from the day the down payment is cleared.

FYI- G53 series in Malaysia does confuse the buyers and seller as well because there is a lot of asus G53 configuration world wide, however for Malaysia only got a specific non configurable spec.
as i remembered last time they only selling G53SW-
IX162V for Malaysia spec
Well ASUS product and logistic strategies are quite different with some other OEM-DELL, Apple etc.
They plan the demand of a specific model and manufacture it, that's what we mean by "old logistic strategy". This needs a lot of quantity demand. When those malaysia distributors order from ASUS, they have to accumulate orders to achieve "quantity discount". That's why you only can see one model selling in the market.
Well US is actually the same. However, they have quantity. Their G73 and G53 are by few thousands. Therefore they can keep much more models and inventory. Their customized parts are not assembled by ASUS but themselves.
Dell is using "just-in-time" logistic and marketing strategy. They avoid intermediaries, approach customers directly and manufacture laptop when order comes in. As a result, they have much lower inventory risk and better customer service.
