fukiaw la nvidia haha

Your PC's NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M does not meet the game's recommended requirements.

The recommended GPU for Battlefield 3 is a GeForce GTX 560 or higher.

FYI- G53 series in Malaysia does confuse the buyers and seller as well because there is a lot of asus G53 configuration world wide, however for Malaysia only got a specific non configurable spec.

as i remembered last time they only selling G53SW-IX162V for Malaysia spec

G74SX-A2 is more superior lol.

Btw, confirm with the shop i order, stock not yet available. I already suspected delays, so prolly gonna wait another 1 week time.

Confirmed with the shop I ordered, stock which are not available will be placed with Asus Malaysia, not waited until stock available(which means they will provide u when there are stock ready left).

G53SX 3DE demo unit is available at one of the Ground Floor Low yat store. That store has Toshiba Qosmio displayed as well. brows.gif

One guy from Sri Computers in Lowyat asked me as well, why do i need such a powerful laptop.

" I want to play Maplestory with it that's why. "  laugh.gif

Duh, i always run 3-4 virtual machines as i'm in the networking/hacking field and of course gaming. I'll need a powerful machine that can cope up, that's what made my BenQ S57 died lol  sweat.gif

I ran 20+ VM with no problem with my G53SW..... just need huge harddisk great i7proc and >8GB ram hahahaha

Haha alright. Nah get an air-can to blow it out. Many tutorials on youtube or notebookreview.com. Go to the Asus ROG notebooks sections. Plenty there heh
Woot good to know. But the G53SX, they wrote there max 8GB only but got 2 SO-DIMM slot. Is it proc restricted or what? Because i plan to upgrade the i7-2630M to something more powerful in future, maybe Ivy Bridge  icon_idea.gif
*
Cant cnfirmed that, mine g53sw got 3 ram slots i think( saw it when remove keyboard) Haha cant find the 4th or maybe it is on the other side of the mobo. Btw i think i72630 can handle more than 8gb easy

G53/G73/G74 has 4 slots of RAM available.
*

From Manual:
DIMM slot 1 and 4 are located under the keyboard and slot 2 and 3 are at the bottom side.

FYI,The DIMM slot 1 is hidden and always pre-installed with a memory in the factory.
thx haha... damn backthere gonna be hard to get to ram slot 2 and 3

The thing is, they only bring stock in that is only enough to fulfill the orders, they don't keep stock.

correct...

QUOTE(hamjun0225 @ Oct 5 2011, 01:46 AM)
They are collecting orders to get quantity discount from ASUS, it is too risky to keep the stock, G series are not very high demanded in Malaysia.

@mr_47, just try vacuuming the vents first, usually helps quite abit. You can open up vacuum too. Repaste only necessary if removing the dust doesn't reduce the heat
*
danger danger danger !!! doh.gif doh.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif dude vacuum will cause electrostatic and can harm any electric hardware including pc chips and circuit board.
