QUOTE(CetZ @ Jun 11 2011, 03:13 PM) Thanks for the deal bro gagak as promised,i feel a slight performance boost on my car will drop another testimony next week 7 days after change to Eneos 10w-40 on my iswara (4g13). Pro: - Very2 smooth ride - More power and stable drive, especially climbing hill n long journey trip - Maintain car temperature Cons: - found out the engine oil level is slightly reduce, based on the dip stick checking this morning This 1 might not accurate Maybe bro gagak can give some idea.. QUOTE(CetZ @ Jun 19 2011, 12:01 AM) as promised, engine oil level is slighly reduce maybe because u already used thicker engine oil before such as 15w40...if u want to use thinner engine oil, u need a try and error.. seems like u engine /valve seal cannot used 10w40.. used 15w40 after this otherwise change a valve seal if u want to used 10w40 in the future. 7 days after change to Eneos 10w-40 on my iswara (4g13). QUOTE(CetZ @ Jun 20 2011, 12:04 PM) adoi yeps.. just check it reqularly.. maybe the engine is too old to used semi synthethic.. that is y never ever used thick oil if ur car can used semi before this.. if really reduce in really abnormal condition will need to change back to old thick kopi hitam haha... dont worry, if the oil level is not reduce too much.. just top up it up. if reduce tooo much just replace the thicker oil such as 15w40. btw, 10w40 performance is really good. your engine feel lighter and more pickup.. if u insist want to used this grade , just change ur valve seal.. there is a way to change it without a overhaul.. |

Hi, I have a 1995 Honda Civic 1600cc. My last service I used semi-synthetic and I seem to get a much better fuel efficiency! However, you state that cars older than 10 years are not suitable for semi-synthetic oil. What is the explanation? Thanks.

Thanks. if ur car still used semi syn like mine (car year 93) means that ur mantained ur car in good care..normally, car user dont want used semi on old car. that is y the wear and tear is big especially valve seal is big and need thicker oil. no problem if ur car still want to used semi.. same for me.. |
