I got a gift(burberry polo tee) from relative from UK. The polo shirt fit my shoulder well but the chest and waist part is too wide for me T.T

There is step by step to shrink polo if the material is cotton, shrink rate might be higher. Actually I am looking forward to downsize my polos too.. They were also a gift and it doesnt fit me well, same situation as yours. The shirt is S size btw. I'm thin |

I had a polo made narrower in the arms and in the chest before. By a lousy alteration seamstress but the results were better than before alteration. Nowadays I would use a bespoke tailor to do the job.

Alteration of shirts is possible, I think. From what I have seen on one of my shirts, stitches are done on the sides of the shirt (from the inside).

Its is possible to alter and the job is easier if the shoulder width fits you perfectly. The tailor can just bring in the chest and the torso part. But i suggest u go to a bespoke tailor since its Burberry your talking about.
