hi guys..what do u all think about the new Maybank Dual Cards? I drop a inquiry via mybank2u yesterday abt CC and today some1 frm maybank HQ called.she talked about it.the features are:
8.8% per annum or 0.74% per month.
No annual fee
Govt service fee- RM50 /year
Will get 2 cards- 1 visa 1 Amex
RM1=5 Treatpoints at all merchant(not just ptronas)
Heard her saying got 5% rebate if we purchase on Saturday n Sunday
Finally i agreed to apply coz of the 'advantages'.via the call.so what do u guys think?

Haha..i didnt notice some1 already had. Miles,do all applicant will rceive platinum coz my salary range is in d 30k per annum.so what will my card look like?

think its hard to find merchant that accept amex. Do petronas accpt amex?if not,im thinkg of cancelling my MBB 2 and apply for ikhwan coz mostly i pump at ptronas so guys..what do u all think?

Man u're right..all that things u guys said make sense.guess i've to learn pumpg at other station.this is juz bcoz petronas is near to my house.does SHELL accept amex? And, when we should pay 4 d RM50 GST? the operator said on 2nd month.really?

guys..just got my MBB 2 few days ago and i havent use it yet. but this afternoon i went to a shoe boutique and before buying i asked the shopper if my card is on to use since this is my first time using CC...noob.
at first try Amex he told need pasword. then try Visa he said declined. he said maybe my card has not been activated yet. so how do i activate them?
when i collect the cards at the branch, the officer never told me to set a pasword.how you think my situation??

they open the line on saturday? i'll call immediately.waiting for weekend to shop but yet this happen

aiyoo..the lady said the password for amex is the expiry date. as for the visa..should be no problem maybe just the shop terminal is offline or something. and yeah they activated my card oredi. thanx Gen-X. kudos to you!!
