For principal cards, govt tax is RM50 for both AMEX and Visa/Master..

For supplementary cards, govt tax is charged separately, ie RM25 for AMEX and RM25 for Visa/Master. (according to the T&C file available at M2U)

So anyone knows, for principal cards, I must apply 2. But for supplementary cards, can I apply only 1 card?

I presumed if I change my card from Visa Petronas Platinum to this, I can transferred my unused point from the previous card to the new card, right?

Look into question 4, there it stated that RM25 for each supplementary card..

just curious, for those who have preference of MC than Visa, mind to share here?

I see quite a lot of ppl here want to wait for MBB MC in April..

ya...i don't feel like CS will be able to answer these kind of questions correctly.

Most of them are actually not aware of the products by their own bank, especially when we want detailed answer from them.. only the answer from staff from credit card department is reliable..

Got my MBB 2 cards by poslaju today... ^.^

Applied on Monday through platinum line.. I am existing MBB card holder, so the credit check process is fast!!

MBB2 cards currently have problem with Verified by visa... I can't make payment to merchant who requires 3d secure code..

I had registered my verified by visa pin, however, when I try to make payment, I am not able to get to the page to enter VBV pin. (the page was skipped automatically)

On the other hand, my visa petronas works perfectly, no problem.


Called up MBB just now. THis has been confirmed by MBB Platinum customer service..
"It affects 3d secure transaction, but for merchant without 3d secure, the transactions are not affected. our IT team is rectifying it, we expect it to be on the track soon"


Not happy with it.

Any people here experiencing the same thing?
