I also never got a MBB credit card , nothing special one .

Just a letter saying you got pre-selected to apply the new cards.

i snail-mailed the pre-approved application, but they never received. so it might be lost during delivery.
then she said "do you still have the form?"

grr.. i said i delivered already what... so i answered "no i dont have. i send it out already"

she said "it's written on the form that you can fax it."

grr... like blame me pulak...

when i ask if i can get a new pre-approved form, she say she can't check whether i am pre-approved or not.. =.=
then ask me to dl the form and fill in, with all the documents required.
i dont know why i feel so irritated =.=

I don't know.

They're two submission types of autopay/auto-debit facility:

1. Submit to respective utility merchant individually
2. Submit to espective utility merchant via bank

I'm not sure of the differences and benefits.

as long as your salary is credited to your maybank account, you can go to any maybank branch and apply. it is automatically pre-approved.

for those wanting to apply for MBB credit card, better you apply thru the branch or by fax.

true, especially if your phone bill suddenly shoot up to RM500 and it's paid before you found out about it. The way to go about this for mobile phone account is to set a credit limit to your phone usage. I sign up for autopay with my debit card for one of my mobile phone number and initially Maxis gave me like RM50 credit but raised it without me knowing when my calls over shoot the initial credit. Called them up and asked them to reduce it to an amount I am comfaortable with.

Best to go to the merchant directly to perform auto-pay ;-)
At least if there's a problem, we can talk tot he merchant directly rather than thru the banks (intermediary)

Banks' main source if income is from INTEREST. You think banks give loans for free? Banks give you more than 20 days of interest-free period, it is fair to charge you interest if you do not pay your outstanding balance in full.
