Yea, I have just received that as well this afternoon, it will be coming with 10000 TP as long I spent RM50 within the first month of the card activation, but prior this I have get a gold card from them, so now I will be having both cards, the advantage is I can have RM100 rebate per month from maybank (on the 5%)

Frustrated with my plan to get the OCBC Titanium c/c. Faxed the application form with a copy of my existing c/c.
3 days later still no call from OCBC. Call the CS, and was told application rejected.
Asked why...She said dunno...

I ask her is it the documents insufficient, also cannot answer me. She said can try I again in 6 months time.
I said "Sorry - no plan to try. Not interested already".

When I think back, I think I know why it was rejected, because the existing c/c which I faxed the copy only had a CL of 6k which I purposely asked the bank to reduce last time to reduce risk of losing the card.
So this OCBC must have assumed my pay is insufficient, which instead they should have asked me for proof of latest income. So dungu of OCBC...then on the other hand they may be full of applicants already. Anyway for those of you who are applying , dont do the same as me.

Anyway out of frustration..I'm saying goodbye to OCBC!

Kids nowadays think only to ask and get instant answers.
No more searching and working hard for the information. Even when you tell them off they don't feel a thing.

Please avoid entertaining request for all these exclusive individual promotions if such letter exist. Exclusive promotions/offer should remain exclusive and they are made exclusive by the bank for a reason. There have been too many similar request in the past and it always ends up badly e.g the other person may use the material to "demand" similar promo to be given out as well.

I have only one thing to say "Earn It". Don't think it is your right to have it just because you ask.

You should give them a copy of your salary payslip. You can't blame OCBC, as any staff processing the application will think your monthly salary is only RM2,000 given a CL of RM6,000.

On a separate note, I have managed to reduce permanently the CL of my OCBC Titanium MC to just RM6,000, taking into consideration the maximum cash back cap of RM50 per month.


The offer is given to selected customers only. It is meaningless to see the content actually.

I do not see this as against the law of the country or anything in LYN. Good things are meant to be shared. Anyway it should be share via pm & not here though.

Well, I faxed-in my application on the 21st...yet to get any calls either....

If OCBC processing officers feel they are confident and comfortable to have a customer like you, they won't call you or check you through your HR Department.

Plus 21st is a merely 2 days. An ideal time before they call you (if they do) is between 4-7 days.
In my case they never called at all. Yes ... banks if they are satisfied with your risk profile and nothing to ask you then they won't call you at all. Also, if they want to reject you straight away then they don't call either.

received my Maybankard 2 invitation letter yesterday..already got maybank petronas card. is it possible to transfer all of my outstanding + ezy payment from my petronas card to the 2cards? i actually call cs today to ask about CL and BT only..never tought about transfer...
btw, the cs lady say the CL shall be combined with my petronas card (no different CL) and i cant BT my outstanding in petronas card to 2cards (the only card that can do BT maybank to maybank is to ikhwan card)

They would actually do that? Well, I submitted my last 3 months' payslip which didn't include my February's payslip since I have not got it yet. The thing is my salary has been revised from February onwards (got an 10% performance increment)...and looking forward to another 4%-5% as annual increment come April. Guess, the best time to apply would have been after April huh?

You don't apply now ... you don't save money via rebate. You can't win em all.
Then again ... (sometimes) the bank don't factor that coz you need to submit 3 months payslip still. The ideal application period would have been in in June or July!

Yea agree with you on that (You can't win em all). Have to give and take on certain stuffs. Let's see how the application results come-in.

Are you talking about RM2 rebate? That is given by TM for subscribing to autopay. Rebate will be reflected in TM bill every month.

Paying bills via TMOnline gets 5% rebate with OCBC Titanium
Autodebit with TM via TMPoint gets 5% rebate with OCBC Titanium + RM2 rebate from TM

Purchase of phone will use separate card terminal from the one for bill payment. Someone had experienced it at MAXIS CENTRE (IOI MALL, Puchong). He got 1% cashback for that transaction.

Btw , The minimum is 2.5k per month but my salary is 1.5k but if count OT which 100% got can reach 2.5k
