QUOTE(timetravelller @ Jan 18 2011, 11:33 AM) hi there, alliance bank new application got rebate for GST? i was thinking to apply alliance bank for BT purposes. Had swipe huge amount of tuition fee on other cc, therefore i need BT desperately. If you still have more upcoming tuition fees to pay, better take cimb card.Education fees can be converted into 10months 0% flexi payment. Added on January 18, 2011, 11:41 am QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jan 18 2011, 11:35 AM) Streamyx combo or Blockbuster Deals? LoL.I am seriously thinking of terminating DirectAccess Platinum MC. The 10months flexi pay thingy & Sunday rebate doesn't justify the GST. Nowadays got so many 0% BT, flexi pay can actually be replaced by BT (if any 0%). The Sunday rebates, lose out to ocbc Ti anyway. This post has been edited by chemistry: Jan 18 2011, 11:41 AM |

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Jan 18 2011, 12:05 PM) I may not share the correct information. I'm just telling what my friend told me.From the cases I heard of, all the BTs approved were for new cards. They applied Alliance card because of that BT. |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jan 18 2011, 12:27 PM) Something like that This is ridiculous! Normally fee is charged for sales draft retrieval.By the way guys, i noticed that Maybank is going to charge you RM20 for each disputed transaction filed which is ABSURD ! This information can be found in the "product disclosure sheet". This dispute fee is a breach of consumer rights! |

QUOTE(erry- @ Jan 18 2011, 11:09 PM) nops. just plat get plat benefits such as complimentary golf at selected golf courses and travel insurance coverage. Thanks. I myself just checked the website. The travel inconvenience/insurance coverage & purchase protection are extra benefits for Platinum 2. Anyway, the product features are still vague and confusing. I will wait & see. |

QUOTE(winner @ Jan 19 2011, 07:48 PM) Big differences. OCBC Titanium MC's 5% cash back is applicable to spending for petrol, grocery, utility bills and restaurant bills all day long, whereas Maybankard 2 Amex CC's 5% cash back is given to all retail transactions made during weekends. This time MBB really put great efforts in stimulating domestic spending Well done, MBB. |

Yesterday went to MBB branch to inquire about Maybankard 2. All of them were not aware of this new product! Include the branch manager!
Anyway, I am not surprised as this is normal for local banks. |

QUOTE(sweetpea123 @ Jan 20 2011, 10:59 AM) QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jan 20 2011, 11:13 AM) For ING, you can apply for this EON Bank INGIAFAM-EON Bank credit card. You will get 2% rebate on the premium paid. The first year credit card tax cannot be waived but for the subsequent years, yes it can be waived. Read more here > Renewal Bonus haha, in case the tax cannot be reimbursed, sweetpea you gotta do some calculation liao.Your HLB essential gives 1% cashback, but PBB-ING gives 2%. This means, your ING premium must be worth RM5000 then only can justify that GST RM50. Get one more card just want to earn a few bucks? Worth or not worth you think twice. |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jan 20 2011, 11:23 AM) The total cumulative RM5k can be from other expenses too. And one must use the card at least 36 times in order to be eligible for this renewal offer. My agent told me about this card last month and i have done the calculations. Will apply for it before my next insurance premium is due. Will go for the Gold card and request for something like RM6k or RM7k limit whoah, 36 times, far more than other banks' 12 times. This card gives only 0.6% on other non-ING transactions. Who will want to spend on this card oh? |
