This is second modded task for me...i got 3 days holiday and no plan to going out to ''jalan-jalan makan angin''...because "No Money"

so i'm decided to mod my Powerlogic Azzura M1000 casing which is for my HTPC setup....

My objective for this modding is :-

1. To cut off side panel to put transparent acrylic like nowadays casing trend
2. Mod HDD Bay to put monster graphic card!
3. To create HDD bay for 2.5" HDD...wanna replace my 3.5'' HDD..it's too big in small casing....







This is initial setup for my HTPC

First time to boot with Samsung 46"LCD using "cap ayam" HDMI cable

Yesterday night after comeback from workplace....i'm start work with my side panel.....

this is 1st i'm try to cut off side panel..i think my skill too bad...the cutting edge is not my expectation ...but ok la for me....


use cheapo sellotape to cover my side panel from scratches...





cut side panel using B&D RTX1... ...bought secondhand last 3month ago..this is 1st time to take action.....





my 1st mistake....using jigsaw to cut for straight line..but this is happen...it's not smooth cutting..it's worst cutting





finally i'm decided to used my B&D RTX1 to perform whole job for cutting task...





the result...i successful made hole for side panel ad made some finishing....

applied 3M double sided tape to acrylic....





And it's was done......Powerlogic Azzura M1000 with modded simple side panel....so my 1st objective is done....today i'm will proceed to 2nd objective which to Mod HDD Bay to put monster graphic card!

re-work parts....

sanding my cutting side panel...using sanding tools..it's look better than before....

today...i got free time to created 3.5" to 2.5" HDD bay....

just cut piece by piece & joint them using 'gam gajah' only








then...this is result....tested with faulty 2.5' HDD...it's work perfectly....










guys...did you know where to find out this spacer?

so...until right now...i'm already achieved 2 objective in my mission....

why don't u make those edges smoother?? or apply those rubber seals, at least it'll hide those edges~

hahahaha..thanks bro for your suggestion....almost didn't think about that...will find out rubber seals by today if can....

lol i also don't know what it is called until i remembered that i've seen it before...perhaps the name for it is "Black Rubber Edge Protector" anyway u all can see this thread/post from niclasteoh~ haha

btw, ur PSU looks familiar ....

ahh the legendary AL 321... the sound more keng than ATP3 for me

same la bro.. x-aku punya pun masih gagah lagi.. walaupun da jual kat member, tp aku smpai ari ni lepak umah dia dgr spekaer tu berdentum2 lg.. hahaha

berbaloi gak dulu aku beli speaker ni...sanggup kuarkan duit pinjaman beli speaker..zaman ngaji dulu..hahahahahha...seb bek bende ni still ada lagi kenangan aku di johor dulu2...hahahahah

uihhhh. cun2 hang punya sanding. aku sanding pn tka pakar sangat, nampak gak cacat. nnt bleh sending utk aku skali kot hehe. nice work
