Hi everyone, this message is to clear all all doughts for you hope it helps: Its more like a faq than anything else.
- Whats the stable version?
The stable version is I5500LAR0JP2_MODIFIED.tar.md5 aka I5500_FROYO_BATFIX_bymotafoca.tar.md5 aka V0.0.1 - The changelog is: - Fixed the powersaving governor to ondemand, so the cpuclock drops to 245mhz when not in use
- Modified some lines on the init.rc script - you can now SU with adb
- Where do i get the stable version?
http://www.multiupload.com/YV8HJJXQBD
- How do i flash my device? (Thanks curious9)
odin : get it at dropbox or http://www.4shared.com/file/J-WSCJSX/odin_...d_ops_file.html
rom : http://www.multiupload.com/YV8HJJXQBD

- Is version V1.0.2 Stable?
No, V1.0.2 Is the stable version aka 0.0.1 with the cpu min frequency reduced to 122mhz This change makes wifi unstable and aparently some apps arent working in this version either
- What about Versions 1.0.3, 1.0.4 - 1.0.x ?
These versions are testing versions All the version are based on the stable version plus some kind of attempt to boot a new kernel, try ext2 file system or anything else, the numbers change but it doesnt mean that version 1.0.5 is better than version 1.0.4 They are all test versions with diferent changes
- Why you trying diferent things?
Basically because the factory ROM is crap - How about cyanogen? Cyanogen is a very good ROM, im trying to port it to our phone, one of the road blocks is the file system, cyanogen uses severall "links" between files and samsung RFS filesystem (thats based on fat) doesnt support these links One alternative would be copy each file instead of links, but then the system doest fit
For now thats it, thank you all for your help
