you should hard reset before flashing..
if you using adb.. just type adb reboot recovery.. all will be ok then happy.gif
chen choose wipe data wipe cache.

like the previous build.. if you want to avoid any problem just hard reset before flashing.. i just reboot recovery n wipe data/cache b4 flash just to take precaution . if you follow above. its ok too. nod.gif
Yes. android sdk. always use that to backup system files and pull installed apk.
