If so, how come they were stated as grey market? BTW, what you guys think about TAG Heuer Formula 1 series? Planning to get 1.

QUOTE(patryn33 @ May 27 2011, 09:59 AM) they are not AD, no factory fresh warranty. Any issues send back to grey dealer under warranty period. out of warranty feel free to send to authorize service center to get it fix/service. Tag F1 - entry level watch every 2-4 yrs change design, do go out dated fast. no chrono version is on ETA and Ronda quartz which generally cost no more than US$25. eg this is a 20+ yr old design » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « There is a chrono version for TAG F1, which I'm interested in. I check at Bangkok here is about 5k+.

Is there any difference between mechanical watch and automatic watch? What about this brand Stuhrling? It is a Germany brand right?

QUOTE(yonggoh @ Jul 26 2011, 12:35 AM) i think the q u should be asking is the difference btw manual and automatic watches? where the manual requires the owner to physically wind the dial of the watch ever so often to provide the required power reserve... the automatic watches typically have built in mechanisms (usually a rotating plate) that swivels from the natural movement of normal wearing that provides the power reserve... plenty of resources that explain it better can be found online with a simple search I was asking mechanical and automatic, because I was looking at thewatchery.com and there is a filter on the left hand side, with choices of quartz, automatic, mechanical, kinetic. When I click on the mechanical, those Stuhrling, Glashutte come out. That's why I'm wondering what is the difference between mechanical and automatic. Looking at the price of Stuhrling so cheap with the skeleton design, was thinking whether the quality is OK but hard to find info on reviews.
