those grand Carrera already priced at 15K. A pendulum concept? those not possible.
more over it is a concept, if u understand the meaning U know its just not possible tp be that cheap.
the R&D cost to make a new movement is >EUR$3,000,000! they make a few concept watch and sell for rm15K how possible is that?
*
... one thing about tag i will never have one more!

after so many years the part of the watch are all from vendor
the movement is all most the same and never change
the only thing is the price
paying for the ad
not in house made what ah boom! ....

true tourbillion?
depending which brand quality is good. pay peanuts get peanuts right?

esp those from seagull are expensive I suppose fit and finish is better. read around but some ppl said U can find the same movement in a US$600 watch, then U get others saying these are fakes. no expert on Chinese tourbillion read area
http://usseagull.com/EnProduct.asp?ClassID...itle=TOURBILLON

for fun joint this group - Millionsmart Tourbillon 1801  at ~us$400, I read cheap ones has QC issue some watches running 1-2 mins fast a day. thats really unacceptable.

it not like he wear it became a hit, go read around.
Stallone did order a few to give to his friends and it become popular in Hollywood. in any case he is already 65, a few more yrs what he wear young ppl also don't care.
Richemont play a role in it today. just look at the brands it carry.
http://www.richemont.com/our-businesses.html

yr 2000 prices for the cheapest is retailing for us$2350 or ~RM7K+ that time Richemont already own it.
yr 2002 PAM 112 rrp is US$2800
yr 2003 PAM 112 rrp - US$3100
yr 2005 PAM 112 rrp - US$3650
yr 2008 PAM 112 rrp - US$4800
yr 2010 PAM 112 rrp - US$5100

I wonder how old are U when uncle told U 6k? pre 1995 prices I am sure it is ~US$1K or RM$2.5K (rate in 1995).
http://www.paneristi.com/reference/priceli...prices2000.html

huh? which brand price drop esp those rrp? early 1990s when Rolex is already popular a entry level airking isn't that costly too its rrp ~RM3.5K.
resale, Patek do buy their LE watches to keep prices up.

ML not really that young. 1st inhouse movement in 2006
when you said young I am thinking Frederique Constant young (1988), with their 1st inhouse in 2004.

not see FC top of the line watches, ML does decorate their Masterpiece collection very nicely.

Added on February 22, 2011, 1:26 am
the cost of movement are always increasing.
even Stowa and CW are increasing their price let alone Epos and Mido.

with the swiss changing laws on what is really 'swiss made', U will find prices going higher.
