Need advise between SEIKO Criteria Tachymeter Chronograph SNDC01P1 or Tissot PRC 200 (AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH)T014.427.16.031.00?

Which is value for money and is better ?
*
Seiko is quartz, Tissot is automatic.
If you concern about accuracy, go for Seiko.
Seiko more sporty, Tissot more to dress watch.
Depend what you like.

Most of the Tissot watches are auto or certain series ? Normally Tissot auto watches with bracelet stainless steel can't get with 600 right ?
*
I think Tissot auto is close to 1k.

Pls advise me which 1 to choose and suggest more....

1. ML Day Date PONTOS          -4.5k
2. ML Crono Les classiques      - 5.2k
3. MIDO Multifort                    -4k

All amount above need to pay in 1 shot... no installment 1...
Personally i think ML is nicer to wear around because of light weight
I also like the detailness of MIDO but it is quite heavy and think... weight is like double ML offer..

Also, pls tell me what is ML 112 movement for the ML Crono Les Classiques... is it good/accurate?
*
You already made your choice, so go for it.
ML112 is based on ETA7750, no problem.

Dear all,

For this modal..
http://www.oris.ch/collections/collections...atchid=79&ln=en

It is using rubber strap... The sales person told me it could only last 2 years then i need to change the strap again... The rubber strap cost 600plus... This is a real let down...
I wonder is it possible to change it to metal steel bracelet????
*
with proper care, am sure the rubber strap can last more than 2 years.
don't believe everything they say.

Guys. Thanks for all the input, especially patryn33, ck77 and nando.
@nando HT doesn't carry MIDO.

I finally got the Mido Baroncelli Power Reserve (partly because I like it and partly because the Mido Commander model I initially wanted out of budget constraints was out of stock/supply, permanently). It is the nicest price possible by an AD and I paid by credit card as there was no difference for cash terms - they accept Visa/MasterCard but not AMEX.

As we all know, the (controlled) standard discount for MIDO is 20%. Well, please head to Sungei Wang latest by Sunday, 29 May 2011 and look out for the watch shop near Vincci at LG floor, and you will see what I mean. You will never find lower (authorised) prices for a long time. This is the best info I have to give back to the watch community here after learning so much! BTW, this watch shop is under the same group as the only watch shop in MV that carries MIDO, so you can expect to see Longines, Victorinox, Junkers etc there.

Any model number or picture?
AFAIK, Seamaster is automatic and not manual wind. Unless if you talking about vintage.

where is it?

I would prefer to view the watch physically instead of buying online.

So which shop can you guys recommend?

In you talking about Time Square, it is CYT Watch, I think located at 4th floor.

if Ball is entry level, Tissot is what? Oris is what? hehehe.. Ball prices not exactly entry level IMO.
In terms of prices
Tissot < Oris < Ball
*
Entry level Ball ~2k range.

thus compared to its peers, its barely entry level today. if Ball is entry level, Tissot is no level.
don't take me wrongly, I am NOT bashing Ball. I think Ball has a grown leaps and bounds. Just that I don't feel they are entry level at all. If anything I feel they seem to be placing above Oris, below Tag. Personal opinion smile.gif
