bought Pavilion DV-7 - the i7 model

compared to i5 it seems like it will have heating issues

never really play heavy game or multitasking so far, but i can feel that it is kinda hot

and 1 thing i don't really like is the touchpad, the design is just so so.

and battery life is very short (3 hours perhaps for just typing under power save mode). I guess that's the downside for using i7 17 inches laptop.

other aspect are good and the beats speakers are awesome, no need any portable mini speaker.
