I just check HP website. This model is still available for sale and its RM 3299. Previously stated RM 4299. Now its all standard RM 3299, in their online store and website.

ohh coool! someone bought it!

anyhow, i called up mobility square in lowyat and also in digital mall. Both selling the same model at RM 3499 but the one in digital mall ( section 14 ) comes with only 4 gig ram, whereas in lowyat plaza is 8 gig ram. Just thought you guys should know.

anyways! got myself this laptop too! got a great deal as i bought with 2 other friends.

will do some review later!

but well, i'm leaving very soon. and got not much choices as i dont wanna get the old i7 processor.


well, i got it from lowyat, AONE plus. 2nd floor. i think they still have 2.

ohh wow, a new model for it. but its at RM 4000.

i got mine for 3200 but just ATI 6570 DDR5

anwyays guys, the temperature for mine isnt too bad. playing COD with U2 fan normal room temperature, its about 63-68 celcius. i'm not shitting you, at least thats the reading that i get. or maybe mine is still a very new unit.

the reason why they say its hot is beacause of the built, its aluminium, thats why it feels hot! but when u check the temp, its normal i guess.

sorry i cant get pics up because i dont have a camera here. and the design is 99% same as the old dv6-3XXX series.

battery for normal usage, surf new, youtube, music and so on, with fully charged 9 cell will last you about 3 hours + thats with highest settings.

i hope this is enough for now.



Ohh one more thing for the sifu's here.
Most of the time, when i leave my laptop on idle, then it goes to screen saver and stuff, when i start using it again, my windows live messenger hangs and i need to restart my computer. Well is this like a software problem or technical problem? It only happens with windows live messenger, the rest like sykpe and other programme is working fine. how do i fix it?

Nope it does not come with backlit keyboard.

Speaker sucks btw, i think i'm getting an external speaker. it says altec lansing, bullshit. But its okay for normal usage, if u wanna blast ur speakers, better get external ones.

dv6-4003tx does not come with usb 3.0
not sure about the refreshed model tho. but its priced at RM 4000.

how low? if its like just few degrees then i guess it dosent really matter, unless there's a like almost 7-8 degrees difference.

I dont think they have it now, even last month when i went to HP shop, they returned all the 40003tx, u can try lowyat, i think they still have ( 2nd floor, just ask around ), but chances are slim.

mine is exactly the same.

but there's quite a bit of difference between and new and old model ( 4003tx and 6001 )

they've added 2 usb 3.0
improved graphic card
beats audio system


but they have taken out the blueray drive. just standed dvd drive now.

TO ALL SIFU'S!

My windows live messenger hangs/lag/freeze after 2-3 hours since i turn on my laptop. Or when its on screen saver, i use it again, my windows live hangs/lag/freeze. Its only windows live, tried uninstall and reinstall, didnt make a diff.

anyone encountered a similar problem? or any solution for this?


ITS JUST WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER, my other programme and my windows are working perfectly fine.

Ohh, its just some settings with the internet explorer. Its working fine now, just need to change the settings

If u actually google it, many other laptops are having this problems as well, not only mine.

and to be honest, there's no problem with my laptop yet! Well i'm quite happy with mine.

now that the new refreshed model is out but almost RM 800 more expensive, i'm happy with my decisions few weeks ago.
Ohh btw, i'm not busy with my new toy, instead i'm busy with uni. but i'll check this thread one a week

yeap mine does.

i thought all 1st batch sandy bridge have it
