I have some problem on trade-in car.
I am actually trade-in my car to buy Persona.
According to the SA, my car loan already approved, but the person who gonna buy my car loan is still in progress. I believe my car alrd arrive, but I still need to wait my old car sold out only can get my new car.

I am worry I can't get my car before CNY.
Can you all share me the experience...
If the SA offer to drive my car to Puspakom, is it safe?
I actually alrd give my original car geran to that SA, is it everything OK?

Go Puspakom sure need geran coz u need to do a car check with them for ownership transfer later, nothing to be afraid of.
*
So I give my car to SA alone, is safe?
I just worry any summon or criminal happend at that time will count to myself.

Is it you all also need to sell the car then only can get the car?

I request lower rate (3.3%), but i see the handling fees was high.
I just wonder is it they try to markup back the amount.

I am so frustrated with the SA.
I can see my car, but i cannot get my car.

If the car not cover by anythingy, hot sun, heavy rain for 2 weeks, what will happen to the car?

I dun understand why my loan approved, still cannot get the car.
I trade-in my car, but nw I have to wait my car total sell off, receive cheque, then bank in again, then only can get my car.

I here recommend you all don't buy car from J.Ipoh Proton.

Pity u.. But ur old car got a confirm buyer ady right?
DOnt worry Persona paint quality very good one.. hehe.. In the Proton kilang all the cars are left outside in the lot for sometimes up to a few mths..
So 2weeks only the paint can take the torture.. Btw u got which line?
*
Already got the buyer. But the problem is, the buyer's loan looks like got problem.
I am worry, the dashboard, tyre, engine, all problem will come out.

You must understand the feeling, you can see, but cannot touch. Especially I am planning to drive new car in this coming CNY......

I call him again, then he tell me he "can" ask the bank to direct pay the cheque to the Car Shop, and not through my name.

I am wonder if he can do this, mean he can cheat me easilly, he can put anybody name on the cheque.

Ok, here's the thing.

U wanna mod brake, yes, thats a good idea. But start small. First, change brake pads. Then rotors. Then brake pump, finally rear disc. When u've all this done, then oni add ABS & EBD module to ur braking system. Sikit sikit lama lama jadi bukit ma  laugh.gif

And yeah, 3.4k for a whole rear set of OEM Proton disc brakes. Quite cheap la considering it's new, but it's still quite some investment there for me. I rather go ICE. LoL.

Added on January 28, 2011, 9:35 pmGuys... I kena saman from Traffic Police today. Damn suay. Parking saman, stop my car at Jln Imbi for a while to go buy 'rou gan' or barbecued pork strips, then come out see my car also got 1 piece of 'rou gan' attached to the wiper d. Niaseng..

Anyone got any idea how much is the saman? It's not stated on the paper..

i just get my persona b-line y'day.
the brake really tak boleh pakai. i feel the car still moving when i brake.
the handbrake hv to pull very high when i park my car in slope, if not, the car still can moving.
Is it all this can be fix during first 1k service? Or i need to mod in other workshop?

adding ABS / EBD stuffs like what H line model has, the cost itself will make you feel complicated. hahaha... not worth it. unless, u can find a write off persona H line and get its braking system.

to improve the braking of the B series, i would highly recommend these to be done:-

1. replace the front brake pads to better friction pads. bosch stock pads suck to the max.
2. replace the master pump to H series or gen2's master pump. B and M series persona have smaller weaker pumps and thus, weaker brake pressure and braking power.

This is more than enough already but if you still want more, then add rear disc brake.

If want even more braking power, then replace the front disc brake to other car makes with bigger rotors with perhaps twin pot calipers. But this needs additional custom bracket works to have it fitted.

Been there, done that. heheheh....

But have not done anything to my brakes on my persona b series except replacing the front pads to higher friction pads to improve brake feel and braking power.

How much do you pay for replacing front pads? will it void the warranty???

Oh its like that one.. The front pads u will need time getting used to it.. But the handbrake its like that.. U cant do much to adjust also..
haha, ZenGTMM, your answer quite similar to Proton Service Centre techinician "it's like that one..."
