since you are collecting problems.. i have another new problem to let u guys know also.. my battery dead after 1 weeks.. my car need to tow all the way to the SC for the claim.. really WTF again.. when claim, some more have to wait 1 day, they said need to test this n that.. WTF again... last last.. give me a new batt also.. then i ask why.. he said so many Proton also like that.. coz' the manufacturing there ordered the batt in bulk.. so, once in a while, a new car get an old battery and that's what happen to my car... aii.. my car really a lot of prob.. but i still like it!!!!

mind to share ur no1. problem how u know it was came from ECU? i'm facing the sound when the rpm drop at the zone 2500  to 1500, sound like airoplane engine slow down, but when i increase pass the 1500 to 2500 rpm zone it was no sound.

For the no2. problem i also face the same thing but when i chack my self the power steering hose are very tight and firm can't even try to shake by hand and it already got some rubber insulation at all the bracket and touching area, don't know after chnage to rubber hose assembly  the sound is still there or not.

Burning smell also same like mine one I thing this is because the rush proofing material spry around the extractor under the car got heaten up becaus i notice when raining time the smell is gone, My sis Myvi also have the same smell during the car still new but now the smell is gone.

Wiper tik tik sound same like mine PE this is the sound of the timer relay to energise the wiper motor because it was in the intermitten on off thas whay we notice the sound, if we turn it to normal and fast there are no need to usr the timer relay to energise the wiper motor.

Yik, yik sound hanppen to me after i first time to bring down the back seat, when my car was new and i never bring down the back seat i got no this problem.

tmr early morning 7.45am will be at CoSE. anyone will be there? in summary will need to do the following:

1. ECU firmware update - to solve the ICM relay "EEEE" sound
2. change power steering assembly - to solve the knocking sound when cornering on uneven surface
3. middle air-con vent rattling sound - still thinking want to change or not, worry they hurt my dashboard. actually can solve it using double side tape to stick inside.

did you meant the fold-able seat caused the "yik yik" sounds ?

Ok, here's the thing.

U wanna mod brake, yes, thats a good idea. But start small. First, change brake pads. Then rotors. Then brake pump, finally rear disc. When u've all this done, then oni add ABS & EBD module to ur braking system. Sikit sikit lama lama jadi bukit ma   

And yeah, 3.4k for a whole rear set of OEM Proton disc brakes. Quite cheap la considering it's new, but it's still quite some investment there for me. I rather go ICE. LoL.

Anyone got any idea how much is the saman? It's not stated on the paper..
