If Chelsea wants to pay straight cash - 50 mil for Torres its a damn worthy sale.

Don't get me wrong, Torres has given us more than 3 years of his professional expertise and like all players he has remained more loyal than most. Can we hope for a player that would play until he retires like the old legends? Not at this time and age when "monetary football" as quoted from a legend, prevails.

Any club can have a go at any player when it comes to buying them. Tapping and backdoor negotiations are a thing of the modern age. How many of you have been approached or tapped up in your professional lives? If not then you are definitely not doing something right.

We all want the best for Liverpool but when it comes down to really good business sense, its all about developing the club for the future and not just holding on to an asset that you think must swear loyalty forever and ever. If a single player can contribute to new blood and more exciting prospects, i think the new club owners would sell (although they do have a habit of not selling within the same league i.e. Bostons players)

In short, if Torres has set his mind to leave then the club should let him but definitely not without a fight and not without a huge RoI. This will ultimately fall on the shoulders of the owners.

But if Torres decides to stay then I applaud King Kenny for his skills of persuasion and people management if he can get Torres to again commit 110% and to help him win the trust and love that our No.9 has lost in this so-called "Betrayal". I personally thing that is a dumb word to use on Torres and more disappointed in trolls even from our fan base who think this is true.

Well that is my 2 sens and for the sake of respect, Torres will always be a Liverpool great even if he will be wearing a Blue jersey.

You'll Never Walk Alone! We march on! Come on you Reds!
