Help recommend me a laptop, guys. biggrin.gif

Laptop brand: Any except for Acer. (Preferably ASUS)
Budget maximum 3k.
I want to use it mainly for multimedia work (Adobe, 3Ds Max, photo editing, video editing, etc) and gaming.
Also want a good quality speaker.
Screen size: 13-15"

Is re-release of the Y560P be able to switch gpu?

So the X43jr already reach its EOL? I went to a local pc shop and the shop owner desperately want to sell one to me for rm2,799. shakehead.gif

Well as stated on the a stickied thread for processors, they did state that i7 is for video encoding, conversions, 3D rendering, so on and so forth.
i5 is optimised for gaming and much less for those heavy rendering, encoding as the i7.
If both price is more or less the same, I suggest you make the change  icon_idea.gif

Oh crap. So I guess I have to get N53SN with i7 then, since I have a lot of encoding and rendering to do.

Hmm yeah. N53SN seems to be a better for long term investment, it's i7 after all.

As for the graphic card I think it only matters for a very heavy gaming.

Yup. For now that's the only gpu spec available for it.

If you want a more customizable laptop spec for a good price you may want to have look at Sager laptops.

people that plug into multiple screen is not a geek ok. Mostly they use it for multi task and graphic design.
People that do gaming rarely do this......
*
Most graphic designer I know are gamer, so they also used multi screen for gaming. lol
