but its the N53SV (i5 dual core) not the N53SN (i7 quad core). The i5 was release after the issue wan annouce and it is not affected. So the SV model might arrive early la.

in this case, i think 1GB better. Bcos 2GB will take longer time response. (this question in mind last time, but one forumer here clear up my mind, but i forgot which forumer said adi. )

A graphic card like gt540m will hardly even use 768mb of RAM,so no worries,just take the lower one,no performance difference.If only nvidia entry level mobile graphic cards are available in GDDR5.........even 512MB will be enough to kill the 2GB DDR3 version.

I'm not aware of having 2 variants of GT540M... its probably typing error..
Marcus has already confirmed that those 2 models are exactly the same 

I believe you have to install it.

installing is much more safer than copy paste cause that game might install something to the registry of your current computer
If your worried bout ur saved files, that wan can just copy paste

Need to install it, due to registries and missing local files that it spread around

Actualy u can just directly click the setup from the DVD. It will then install in your laptop. Don't really need to copy whole dvd to your laptop unless you wan to save your installation files in your HDD

ohh you mean when you buy the laptop it bundle with Metro izzit???
Then of course you have to install it using the CD

 
I thought you were asking how to install the Metro2033 game la.
Laptop they don't give cd for GPU or Mobo etc. All laptops have preinstalled dirver la. They only give windows recovery dics.....some only la. Most OEM put the recovery partition on the HDD

But extra RM200 you get sleek design and also B&O speakers

I was in lowyat yesterday. One shop said A53SV coming in today or latest tomorrow.

Never used matlab before, I'm assuming it requires more processing power instead of graphic power? 
Can take a look at the Lenovo Ideapad Z460 i5-480M+ Intel GMA HD@~RM1.7k, FreeDOS) or (i5-480M + G310M@~RM2.2k) or (i5-460M + G310M@~RM2.1k)..
The Z460 is probably one of the most powerful laptop for the price atm
