performance? not really relevant, the laptops aren't exactly stressed... but its decent with the i3-380 processor. things aren't slow. the heat is noticeable because the vent is on the left, blowing out the air, but the laptop itself doesn't really heat up.
warranty? i duno. I dun want to try. better the tablet have no problem at all. |

I see. My Asus convertible netbook does not have the heat vents at all. So, have to improvise other type of cooling method. warranty? i duno. I dun want to try. better the tablet have no problem at all.  Nobody will ever want to spoil their laptop just for the sake of trying the warranty services.  |

^he wanted <14'' and long battery life....

Thanks for answering on my behalf lol... I was so lazy to reply since I am on iPhone now..
Yea.. Smaller than 14 inch, not easily overheat, gaming, long battery life.. X42jr doesn't fulfil any of those requirements |

 Other than that would be Asus U41Jf, i5 480M + nVidia GT425M@RM2899 Better spec'ed notebook under 3K is 15'' notebook like Acer 5750G, Lenovo Y560p.. |
