Yeah, apparently there's a forumer complaining about that, but that's the SB Y560 I think  hmm.gif
How does Dell sound? Literally? Or non-literally?  laugh.gif
*
Non-literal laugh.gif XPS lines, the price to performance ratio, speakers, build quality, screen flex (if opening lid from near corners, very sensitive issue since 4820TG reviews), screen quality (LED or LCD), graphics, processor, Optimus and price notworthy.gif
Possibly everything. And LOL I realise you're an Android user yourself.

Lol I mean XPS's performance/realibilit/usage/practicality of :
14 inch (still can't make up my mind) - you recommend me instead laugh.gif
price to performance ratio
speakers
build quality
screen flexibility (if opening lid from near corners, very sensitive issue since 4820TG reviews)
screen quality (LED or LCD??)
graphics card
processor
Optimus
price

And LOL I'm an Android user myself laugh.gif Still noob though, but I got my phone running on custom ROMs and hacked European drivers, boot drivers BIOS and etc thumbup.gif
My personal advice for choosing an Android is please make sure large internal storage with SD card, true multitouch (unlike Nexus One) and a good community of developers for future improvements by hacking laugh.gif

N53SN costs RM3599
N53SV costs RM2799. Do refer to the link kindly given by marcus (just above)
*
They cost dearly sweat.gif
What's the specs again? Too fragmented to even read sweat.gif
And I want to really ask :
pros and cons : 14 inch vs. 15 inch??????

N53SV (i5-2420QM + GT540@RM2799)

The difference between 14 and 15 inches are quite significant, better think twice before going for a 15 incher, especially if you're a mobile warrior hehe  laugh.gif
*
I actually gonna take the laptop for college and back and forth from Ipoh...

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Feb 23 2011, 11:19 PM)
I should probably quote this again  [credits to marcus for sharing the pricings] nod.gif
N53SN (i7-2630QM + GT550M@RM3499)
N53SV (i5-2420QM + GT540@RM2799)
A53SV (i5-2420QM + GT540@RM2599)

*
Price for A53SV is good.
Any laptops with similar spec by ASUS which is a 14 incher? ??

Anyway, new MacBook Pros are out, they killed MacBook Whites
New MBP 13 inch use internal graphics from SB, totally not worth the 3.7k (direct conversion from www.apple.com)

QUOTE(DjK @ Feb 25 2011, 12:56 AM)
Hi all,

Wanna ask, since SB's chipsets are faulty and can only be fixed/changed in march or april, are there any alternatives? i know that acer and lenovo once sold quite well for their latest SB proc-laptop (e.g y540p). Are there any good AMD proc laptop out there that can withstand them? so far that i know of is that AMD been pushing APU tech but what about mainstream laptops?(phenom II). I'm asking because there's an urgent need of getting a good processor laptop with up to date specs( gaming/simulation/daily office/net surfing).

Please advice happy.gif thx!!!
*
Phenom don't have laptop version...
For notebooks, need to wait till Llano and Bulldozer I think. They're still on netbooks now

QUOTE(djronzai @ Feb 25 2011, 12:58 AM)
N43JF but EOL alrdy...
*
Yes... That's the worst part. I saw N43SL but I'm sure got alternative sweat.gif

Yup, ASUS got a new batch of shipment in March. If March 8th is the date... I won't be surprised since SB is already fixed

I agree. For deisgn, B&O speakers and a USB 3.0 port is quite future proof.
any idea on N43SL yet???
HWM got review, but them Apple fanboys quite bad at reviewing things. Too brief.
Non-apple products give about 8~9. Apple all above 9. Non of their reviews are below 8.

Which laptop? All these are new laptops, you'd probably won't find any reviews apart from that of the N53SV  nod.gif
*
There's a brief review of the N43SL, I can scan it if you want, even though it's really a very, very brief review.
Somehow it's RRP at 2999, i7 2630QM with Nvidia 540M + 2GB VRAM, 500GB 5400rpm HDD with 3GB DDR3?? sweat.gif
Review units are different from market ones though (well, some of them are)
