Hi guys, my dad is getting a new laptop and asked me to help get some recommendations for him.

1. Brand. --> Any (but prefers Sony)
2. Budget. --> About any average person, probably about RM3-4k. (he didn't tell me ...)
3. Specs. --> Don't need a very powerful lappie, he's using it more for business and traveling purposes.
4. Size. --> 14" and below (preferably 13" - 14")

Really appreciate the recommendations tongue.gif

EDIT: Increased the budget.

I wish there was a way we could put pressure on Asus to bring forward their release dates! x)
and why are people so quiet about the IT later this week? its as if they are ashamed to talk about haha. Since this is a tech forum, I'd have assumed every one would be itching for the 28th!

The 11.6 inch Vaio is quite prevalent... I've seen them before (even in 1Utama) haha laugh.gif Still do take note that its running on a ULV processor (i3-380UM)...
Other alternatives include Acer 1830TZ, Toshiba Portege T210, Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 11, HP DM1, Fujitsu PH520/530 etc.
