LOL nothing bad....but, pickin out a laptop has been kinda stressful xD
with the new processor...weighing features out, build quality..price...warranty packages...etc
very very complicated....ie if ure a person on a budget like me. But If uve got banks accounts in Switzerland,
its gonna be very hassle free....just go out and buy a mac book pro! or alienware, something along those lines

Depend on people as well, the more you hoped for, the more stressful you would be.

Just take it easy and buy as you need. Nothing is PERFECT. XD.....

oh and skycrawler, Swiss becos thats where the filthy rich usually store their money at...you know like your Tony Sopranos' and stuff...overseas bank accounts so the govt. cant freeze your assets

LOL.

I strongly suggest you get the Asus laptop during the CNY. biggrin.gif

Anyway, swiss bank is no longer a safe place to hide the proceeds. wink.gif

the model suggested can't turn to tablet right? its just a laptop? hmm.gif
*
IMO, the windows based tablet PC is not a suitable choice for a few reasons:

1. the touchscreen experience is not as good as ipad or other capacitive tablet devices.
2. Windows OS is quite power consuming when compared to ipad or SGT.
3. It gets heats up easily compared to ipad.

By the way, is there any thread for the tablet recommendation? hmm.gif

no the touchscreen is better. its more accurate.
and ipad doesn't support the software i'm using in the office. no apps for database entry in healthcare service industry.
*
Not only that. My mum which is a gadget naive woman bashes ipad because she cannot use it to visit the stock market website because ipad cannot support java. sweat.gif

What a shame for my ifag uncles that support and promote Apple products....

Resistive touchscreen - more accurate but less responsive
Capacitive touchscreen - less accurate comparatively but very responsive

Both are diff kinds, can't compare.. Nuff said..
*
Yup, that is why i prefer the resistive touchscreen for the websurfing.

the tablet one isn't resistive. Its capacitive too. but with wacom penable (pen-enabled... just their stupid way of saying it.)
responsive and accurate. dam awesome.
the window's handwriting recognition technology is very accurate too.
*
Which 1? Mind posting a link about its specification here?

The fujitsu TH700, the old HP Tx2000. iirc all fujitsu tablets are wacom penable.
currently we're using 1 Fujitsu TH700 and one Tx2000. Trying to get another TH700 asap
*
Wow. How was their performance? Do they get heated up easily? How about the fujitsu warranty services in Malaysia?

performance? not really relevant, the laptops aren't exactly stressed... but its decent with the i3-380 processor. things aren't slow. the heat is noticeable because the vent is on the left, blowing out the air, but the laptop itself doesn't really heat up.

warranty? i duno. I dun want to try. better the tablet have no problem at all.
*
I see. My Asus convertible netbook does not have the heat vents at all. So, have to improvise other type of cooling method.

Nobody will ever want to spoil their laptop just for the sake of trying the warranty services. tongue.gif

as far as i know, most trading platform works only with windows other OS not many supported, right? hmm.gif

you also looking for tablet-pc? smile.gif
*
I already have one tablet netbook.

One of the main reason other platform does not work with the trading platform because they did not support java in the first place.

Well. XPS 15 were scheduled with SandyBridge at around March, while the current XPS 15 were released last year compared to Acer 5750G that recently released...

What other uncertainties except the chipset problem ?
*
What is the exact for the release of the XPS15 with i7 SB processor? hmm.gif

I suppose SSD is where we'll be heading in the future, but seriously, the pricing is really cutthroat.
*
Indeed. Otherwise, i would go and buy one SSD for my laptop.
