QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Feb 14 2011, 03:12 PM) From HDD to SSD, both using the same interface SATA... So, if my laptop is using SATA HDD which most laptop are using nowdays, I can change to SSD? I mean the connector is same as SATA HDD connector? I have no idea because i have not seen a SSD before. Warranty void for the HDD since you not using the pre-installed HDD.. QUOTE(lee_what2004 @ Feb 14 2011, 04:16 PM) What is the advantage of RGB LED screen compared to normal screen? |

Could you help to suggest me a notebook brand based on the constraint below? Price: ~2k Screen size: 14" Weight: less than 2kg HDD: ~500GB Memory: 2Gb/4Gb Usage: chatting, surfing, portability Others: The notebook must not be hot during usage. At least 4 hours usage with battery preferred Thanks in advance! This post has been edited by kenrain: Feb 15 2011, 09:50 PM |

QUOTE(kenrain @ Feb 15 2011, 09:29 PM) Hi lee_what2004, 14'' under 2KG is kinda restrictive under this budget, would be Lenovo U460, but its RM2399...Could you help to suggest me a notebook brand based on the constraint below? I would suggest get 13'', Acer 3820TG, i3 380M + ATi HD6550M, 1.8KG, 6 hurs@RM2199, since you don't really need to the ATi GPU, you can just switch it to Intel HD and lower the heat output... Btw, is A42JA good? A42Ja, not really good choice for now since you can get better deal with the SandyBridge notebook + its more than RM2.2K...
